Rain on windscreen?

Hello,

Has the feature of rain/snow appearing on the windows of trains been removed from TS2015? I've got my settings on high, but for some reason, the rain doesn't hit the windscreen. Is there a way to fix this please?

Thanks.

I'm sure it is dependant on what loco you are using. To get rain on the windscreen the loco must be updated to TS2013/4? standards. Not all have been updated to include this feature yet. What were you driving?

In settings have Dynamic Lighting ticked and in advanced settings you might want to tick these if they are not, Procedural Flora, Adaptive Bloom, Depth of Field and Dynamic Lighting.

The raindrops on windows is dependant on the loco having the feature enabled, and is available only if you have 'Dynamic Lighting' enabled.

I thought it was broken once when I started a scenario or QD in a station on the Rivieria route.. But some areas are programmed to feel like there's a roof even when technically there isn't one, so its raining like crazy but it doesn't touch the windows.

Only Dynamic lighting is actually necessary to get the windscreen weather effects, assuming the loco is TSX-enabled. And it's raining/snowing.

Yes I'm aware of that, was just using the others as suggestions in case the op didn't know they were there. :)

Not relevant though. Let's first try and establish why the basics don't work before potentially confusing things with what are, ostensibly, unnecessary eye-candy options, eh?
