I have mixed feelings myself, on one hand the graphics are sharper I like the new but limited 3D weather patterns and performance is better. On the other hand I don't like the stupid ui nor the wandering passengers nor the white hills/mountains.

Own goal I think. Even the adverts that come with the sim when it loads show just how bad the weather system now is. White or blue hills and buildings even on DTG's own routes that speaks of a lack of attention to even a most cursory check of products they sell themselves - let alone those supplied by 3rd party developers. The time it has taken to provide what is really quite a simple fix for the weather system shows a distinct lack of ownership of the problem by DTG.
I am also not terrifically impressed by the way in which the latest batch of locos has been released that owe more than a little to a previous developer, who whilst there may be issues, still deserves some courtesy of an acknowledgement for the head start he will have given DTG on this stock.
There are fixes but I do feel that compared to the previous version TS15 feels like a rushed job.

On this particular topic, certainly the recent 9F fully acknowledges its heritage.

Three things that really spoil TS 2015 for me are the white hills/mountains, poor shadow contrast and worst of all the coach passenger bug introduced in TS 2015. Hope they fix that one soon

The texture detail is better and clearer. However the UI or menu is a real annoyance that can be only just tolerated. The real problem is the "white hills" which just about kill the sim's realism for me .
Whenever possible I am using TS2014 which has a very good UI and most importantly no white hills.

Ok, spoke too soon; noticed white hills in the distance on WCMLoS last night. Not a show-stopper by any means, but as the saying goes, "what has been seen cannot be unseen". :-/

"TS2015 Did it Work for You?"
No.
White Hills have all but ruined this game for me. Not spending a penny more (3rd party producers have my sympathy here) until they've been sorted. It's my line in the sand.

Well for me it has now made some of the routes that were there yesterday vanish from the Standard Drive Menu meaning more annoying scrolling to find them. Have reported to DTG. Anyone else found this? I had 5 pages worth of routes before now only 4. Weird.
