I'd like to meet their PR manager, the amount of spelling and grammar mistakes in that survey is hard to avoid noticing :-?

Question 3 is leading onto something I think, they seem to be of the mindset that users can get a better quality add on with advanced features in exchange for them jacking up the price a bit. Which isn't exactly the correct approach when other 3rd parties do this for the same (and sometimes less) of the price of the current DTG DLC.

Too much questions, which need an alternative answer to the given choices. Or the possibility to give a remark. It seems, they think about to make more advanced DLCs and they want more money. And they think about to prohibit AddOns like sound products/Steam effects/Other add packs (question 7). A very, very bad idea. Especially plenty of their products need such AddOns to get an acceptable quality.

And I missed the question, what I expect most from DTG. No advanced products until the standard items will come in a good quality - or at least - errors will be fixed in an acceptable period.

Yeah but DtG's stuff is entry level stuff feature wise, and other 3rd party stuff that has excellent levels of realism seem to me anyway to be more expensive than DtG's efforts, VR? AP (on most models), JT. So I don't think DT, angling for a price increase for adding more realism is that much of a shocker!

Surveys are not always the best way to determine the public's wants, although I don't decry DT for giving it a go. My worry, in their shoes, is that I would get a disproportionate number of dedicated simmers who are atypical of the market, which such as we undoubtedly are. It makes very little sense to develop models with incredible textures that lengthy script development if the price point that creates is higher than enough people are prepared to pay but there is a risk that the input from people who have high-end rigs and can spend relatively freely will distort the results towards that. As an example, the company that built Matchless bikes did a survey in the late twenties and the results suggested that the public wanted refined, elegant and expensive touring bikes so they spent a lot of money developing the Silver Arrow (400cc narrow-angle V-twin side valve) and Silver Hawk (600cc overhead cam, narrow-angle V-4) models - and sold very, very few. The public actually bought their far cheaper and far simpler 350cc and 500cc single-cylinder models, especially the sports and competition versions.

Hi,
I'm afraid I don't use loco's and MU's with advanced features as due to a health problem,I find them to complecated to use,I have some reallly nice AP models but seldom drive them because of the complicated method to get them to work, even after people have tried to help, espeially the AP team, and Gptech.

I prefer either simple control,or expert Head Up,all I have to do is use the sliding controls and away they go no fiddleing around, pressing this button that push\pull this\that lever.

I pay as little as possible when the opportunity arises. No need for a survey here :)

Oh wait, it's a Digital Traction survey, ah well that's a different story (thought DTG were considering making rolling stock with advanced systems  ). Guess they should have stuck with the RSC name, then we wouldn't get confused like this! I've never really used any of DT's stuff so I don't really have an input on this, so I'll drop out from this one I suppose.
