London Overground Stock
Can someone give me some advice please - I've recently d/loaded the South London Network route & the Workshop link to the Brighton route. A couple of scenarios refer to London Overground stock - for the life of me I cannot find any LO stock that works. Can someone summarise what LO stock there is [whatever class] & how to get it installed correctly. Class 444 seems a particular problem, but not the only one by any means. It may be my inability to install the reskins that are available for LO - the problem with being a bit of an IT thicko !!!! Thanks in advance for any help

Hi
I think for London Overground Stock you have to use the R Fletcher skin from D P Simulations,I have managed to install which for me is a minor miracle, the next miracle I now need how to get the blincking thing to move, what ever I try it just sits a New Cross Gate looking pretty.
So can one of the more experianced members here help me out again
Thank you
Mike

Re: London Overground Stock
Although it's a Reskin it's still the 377 or 375 underneath so the driving of it should be no difference to the default versions used on the L2B & SLR.
It has a simple power brake handle. Put in to FWD, move the handle to wards 100% and it should move.
Worth trying a normal non-reskined 377 or 375 to see if they move ok.
If you have L2B there is a scenario called The Electrostar (introduction) and it might be worth running that.

Hi Peter,
I've tried both the 377 and 375 and they work perfictaly both show the amps but the 378 just sits there just showing zero amps,no matter what I try.
I have just tried switching from expert mode to easy mode, and the 378 started up and moved straight away, seems best to use easy for this unit, really nice looking reskin.

I just noticed the 375 has OHLE and Third Rail buttons in the Cab.
On the Left side, under the switches for the Lights are two rows of Red, Yellow, Blue identical cover/buttons.
The Lower set is for Third Rail use - Push The Yellow Button and see if that works.

Re: London Overground Stock
Did you clear the cache after installing the reskin?

Is the red arrow on the speedo pointing at zero? If so you can move it to the desired speed by pressing Y or C

From that it could be that it wasn't miraculous enough, and the installation is flawed.michaelhendle wrote:I think for London Overground Stock you have to use the R Fletcher skin from D P Simulations,I have managed to install which for me is a minor miracle
As your default models work OK, and as Peter has said, the 378 is just a copy of one of those with a different frock on there's only really two possible reasons why the 378 won't move
a) the reskin's .bin files haven't been edited correctly, to point to some control value for example
or
b) the installation is flawed, using the same control value as above, the control itself may not have been copied to the right place or even not at all.
Exactly how did you install it?

Re: London Overground Stock
Hello Michael,
Sorry that I have only just picked up on this
.
I have just tried out the 378 from New X Gate to Surrey Quays in expert mode and all is fine.
However, when I set up the .bin file, I set the DRA to be on by default when a scenario starts in stationary mode. If the DRA is not turned off, the unit will not budge one inch - this could be the cause of your bother.
If you have turned the DRA off, I do apologise and I will delve a bit deeper if need be.
Hope this helps,
