Re: South London Network merged with London to Brighton.
Hi Danny,
I'm creating a scenario for your merged route and I was placing a Purley-Cliffe freight and noticed that there's no direct access from Purley Down Siding to Purley platform 4 which exists according to my Quail map. My map also shows the siding as being electrified. Is this something you could look into if you have the time please?
Thanks,
Josh

I have added a connection and a signal, however there weren't any similar signals that could match the one there (it has the correct feather and call on signal at least), so you'll have to press tab to get into the siding from P4 unfortunately (with the call on display on the signal). Its not the best but its better than nothing. It should be uploaded before tonight

Re: South London Network merged with London to Brighton.
The way I got round island platforms and doors on LMR was to put TWO invisible platform lofts per platform thus two trains could use a single island at once and both get the correct passengers.
In the case of a dual (L&R) platform I did the same but omitted one invisible loft on the one side I didnt want the doors opening BUT Still kept the platform name in the track so timetables (stopping) could still be used, just the doors didnt open one side.
Cheers

Thanks for these on-going updates Danny. The merged route just gets better and better!danny3 wrote:I have added a connection and a signal, however there weren't any similar signals that could match the one there (it has the correct feather and call on signal at least), so you'll have to press tab to get into the siding from P4 unfortunately (with the call on display on the signal). It may be a good thing you have not been able to finalise it

Brilliant! Thank you for all your work with this combined route. It's a fantastic merge and I'm enjoying the extensions to Reigate and Hove too.danny3 wrote:I have added a connection and a signal, however there weren't any similar signals that could match the one there (it has the correct feather and call on signal at least), so you'll have to press tab to get into the siding from P4 unfortunately (with the call on display on the signal). Re: South London Network merged with London to Brighton.
Hi Folks,
Whilst driving this excellent merge, Ive noticed that signals between Longhenge Jn and Clapham seem to be missing (also signals on the Kensington side seem to be missing them aswell) AWS magnets, some seem to have TPWS and quite a lot do not. Does anyone else have this? Have run this section of route several times now and have had nothing showing or activating.
Thanks for a great update by the way!
Thanks,
JV.

I shall have a look at that when i get the time
(the AWS, and TPWS), also johnrossetti I shall give that a try when i get the chance.

Thanks Danny,
Ive also noticed one of the signals on the approach to West Croydon Bay from the Selhurst direction is missing its AWS as well ( its either the Double Yellow or Yellow - I cant remember which off hand). One speed limit ive noticed is out is that of the Clapham Junction Platform 1/2 approach, it should be 10 from the waterloo side of the crossovers between the two platforms and the bufferstop/fixed red (it should start just prior to the crossover according to the route video).
Regards JV.

The west croydon one - that's strange because i looked and all of the signals have an aws ramp! (i double checked too), also the line to Kensington Olympia has signals to the end of the track but added the missing AWS ramps and fixed the 10mph area with more signs and a buffer light too! Just to note though the TPWS is only there to protect the junctionsJasVick wrote:Thanks Danny,

I think for the reason why they are missing could be as simple as the person who placed them for London - Brighton didn't realise they would be used (to be fair I can see why though at the time they didn't really go anywhere), but that being said i've added AWS to the waterloo lines up to the international junction (no point further than that really!)
So fixes -
Added AWS and TPWS to the Waterloo lines and Lines to and from West London Line (only as far as the end of international junction)
Added Missing signals on International Junction (and AWS Ramps too!)
Changed Speed Limits at Clapham Junction P1 and 2 (with buffer light)
Should be up before the end of the day

I drove the section from Herne Hill to Tulse Hill and the AWS ramps seemed to be missing.

Just to check when you say missing AWS Ramps, how many are missing on your version? I only seemed to find one ? (there was a permanent one present for the speed change but not a normal one, but all the other signals had AWS Ramps present ?749006 wrote:I drove the section from Herne Hill to Tulse Hill and the AWS ramps seemed to be missing.

For those that are interested the route is now final on steam workshop for those that are interested in uploading scenarios for the route (on workshop or other wise ) .
And also for a future version, I have extended the route to Beckenham Junction (not the above route) and possibly other areas too (perhaps will merge to Bedford or Kent with either route when the former comes out) - a bit more information on that here - https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 0119587161
(you don't need an account to look at it though
- just thought to pass it on here too as i don't generally post on these forums that often anymore )

Awesome!!!!! Thanks Danny. Oh and thanks very much for doing the two suggestions I made which were fixing the Horsham portal and adding scenery at Reigate. I owe you some beers!danny3 wrote:For those that are interested the route is now final on steam workshop for those that are interested in uploading scenarios for the route (on workshop or other wise ) .

V. v. cool! Thanks a bunch! Hoping to see a selection of scenarios popping up in the workshop soon!danny3 wrote:For those that are interested the route is now final on steam workshop for those that are interested in uploading scenarios for the route (on workshop or other wise ) .
