I'm in the process of creating a new route of my own, and have encountered an old problem I once had, but it was so long back, that I've completely forgotten what someone said in a "help" email I received at the time. This was a "one-off" problem, but it's once again happened to me. I ran into an invisible wagon or EMU car that was created before a station, and derailed my train, ending the game, but I restarted it, and approached the invisible object, until I coupled to it, and ran forward into a dead-end siding, and uncoupled from it, and left it where it was, thus freeing my mainline track albeit temporarily. But I want to remove the offending vehicle, by deleting it permanently. So does some bright spark happen to know how to archieve this correctly, so I may, at last, have some peace ? Thank you for any suggestions offered. Cheers !
Regards...

What I did ;
-go to the scenario editor, place an locomotive against the invisible item ( you will hear a sound)
- give the locomotive a name (via the driver icon) ie 'remove_me'
- go to the scenario editor of RWTOOLS, open the scenario, find the 'remove_me' consist and delete it.
I hope this was helpful.

It may well be a missing .GeoPcDx file in the offending loco (EMU) asset, quite probably a reskin where you haven't copied that file over when installing. You can either fix that, or delete the vehicle in the scenario. Either way, use RW_Tools. If you don't have that, GET IT!
The "invisible" vehicle should still be showing on the 2D map. Make a note of its name on the map (it could be a description, or maybe something like Service 1), then open RW_Tools, go to Scenarios > Edit Scenarios, highlight the Route and then the Scenario in the box below, and click on Edit Selected Scenario from the menu on the right. When it opens, look for the offending consist name. Highlight the consist, and it will show you all elements of the consist in the middle box headed "Selected Consist". In this case it should be just one car.
You can now either:
1. Fix the vehicle. Now you know the vehicle and the path, you may be able to copy over the missing Geo file so that it will be visible.
2. Delete the Consist - the button is in the shorter menu column immediately below the list of Consists

Or what you could do if you don't have RWTOOLS is, place the loco as above, then in the bottom left fly out, click the ring next to "consist select" symbol to put a dot in it. Then double click the loco you placed and press your delete key. that should get rid of them both.jalmar wrote:What I did ;
