I'd hope the vehicle carrying the pantograph hasn't been modelled as a trailer, it's the only motored vehicle in the set on the prototype!gptech wrote:Time for a game.... have a good look at the pantograph trailer ....

The preserved one is at Bo'Ness & Kinneil Railway, Believe they do run it, push/pull with their 26s etc.DocklandsProject wrote:Are there any 303 units still running in preservation? Off the top of my head I don't think there are, which donks an improved sound pack on the nut. I very much like the look of this model as all 1960 trains have a certain appeal to me, but good sound representation is very important to my enjoyment of the sim so might pick it up in a sale for static scenery to add flavour to a scenario but I wouldn't enjoy driving it like that. Sorry for being negative, just thinking out loud.
I suspect that it's called a trailer because it trails behind/between driving carsAndyUK wrote:I'd hope the vehicle carrying the pantograph hasn't been modelled as a trailer, it's the only motored vehicle in the set on the prototype!gptech wrote:Time for a game.... have a good look at the pantograph trailer ....

have they modelled the Guards swinging doors as Power Doors?gptech wrote:Time for a game.... have a good look at the pantograph trailer and see if you can find the as un-yet noted *error*.
A couple of tips:
It's not the panto.
It's something that you don't need reference photos or any knowledge of the prototype to identify.
"as un-yet" Gary? tsk, tskgptech wrote:and see if you can find the as un-yet noted *error*.
Is it the vehicle number? I got the number 43210 on the one I looked at.749006 wrote:have they modelled the Guards swinging doors as Power Doors?gptech wrote:Time for a game.... have a good look at the pantograph trailer and see if you can find the as un-yet noted *error*.

Calling it a trailer for whatever reason is wrong. The correct designation is MBSO - Motor Brake Second Open.gptech wrote:I suspect that it's called a trailer because it trails behind/between driving carsAndyUK wrote:I'd hope the vehicle carrying the pantograph hasn't been modelled as a trailer, it's the only motored vehicle in the set on the prototype!gptech wrote:Time for a game.... have a good look at the pantograph trailer ....

That's sound that is mate
The .bin for the trailer, MBSO, Pantograph coach or just plain 'middle carriage' has no reference to the digits.bin file in either of the NamedTextureSet fields so the correct numbers can't be displayed.GrahamP wrote: Is it the vehicle number? I got the number 43210 on the one I looked at.
