Yeah, I am quite aware of that, and a veteran IT dogsbody so can comprehend the difference between memory and hard drive size. I was just making a light hearted comment, not really sure what your point is.

The point is that there are probably members reading this thread who don't know the difference....why confuse them?

Now if you'd related a little anecdote about hard drive size it would have been more relevant, for example I was once asked if I was being a little OTT when I specified a bunch of machines with 100MB hard drives.

Can I go the other way and say the copy I use the most, which I keep for route building, is only 10.18Gb?
My driving copy on a different drive is 43.25Gb.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

My entire Railworks install is 276 GB (297,037,944,256 bytes) :o

Although I do have my Content folders split up into 4 variations. These days I don't have any real strife from a very large Asset library.

Cheers.

My TS2015 folder is 115GB with 474,789 files in 25,253 folders and was first created on 23rd Sept 2013, my download folder for TS related files is 54GB and was created on 28 Sept 2013.

After reading the OP's question yesterday got me to thinking about computer sizes etc., my first HDD was 10MB and now I have 2 x 2TB slow spinners and thinking on a 1TB SSD for OS and some games with the rest on HDD

Then there's the group who call the entire computer a hard drive.

And yet, as a side note, if reskin blueprints worked with more than one texture, as intended, it could well be half of that!

Since the .ap files came in last year one massive Assets folder can now be handled with a backup vanilla one. Also the Content folder needs to be controlled via Mike Simpson's Store it or the game would not load with too many scenarios.

The ability not to have to run half a dozen Assets folders is the biggest leap forward for me. Total installation around 270 -300 GB I think.

My main development folder is now at 247GB, but I also have 2 other installations of TS2013 and TS2014 on this PC and another install on my Windows 8.1 machine. However, I must admit that I have unpacked a lot of the .ap files while testing this function, so that would have greatly increased the size from what it needs to be.

It does take a long time to start up TS2015 first thing each day :D
