Re: DTG producing the South London network
Certainly a shame but seemingly unavoidable in today's iteration of the sim. Thanks for the explanation Rich.

It seems AP have stated on FB that there will be no 456 sound upgrade for now for undisclosed reasons. Oh well.

Bit of a contrast, seems a lot changed between 2003 and 2014.

Hopefully for the same reason that the DTG class 321 was unsupportedxguerra wrote: Within the comments on the FB post for the 375/377 sound pack update they said:

Re: DTG producing the South London network
lets hope so! I can't bear the 456! If they'd used the 455 as a base, then it wouldn't of been so bad!

I can confirm that removing the Beta install of 2015 sorted out the sound problems, still dancing people and track trespassers though in various locations!

Re: DTG producing the South London network
How would I alias the 456 sound to the AP 319 pack?

Re: DTG producing the South London network
I have a really odd issue with this route which I have only discovered with a scenario I created heading from Clapham J to Surrey Quays. Basically as I reach Clapham High Street I find a large pile of ballast in the middle of the track! However if I save and resume, or create a new scenario starting in Clapham High Street (Or indeed hang out and have a look as I fly past on a Kent House to Victoria fast I created earlier) then all is well and no heap of gravel. Looking at the route in editor mode I can see some dark patch where the problem occurs which I must confess I don't understand but then go into drive mode and the dark bit turns into normal track. A second test scenario with different time of day and weather also starting from Clapham J though recreates my issue. Some kind of rendering problem I guess but never encountered this before and am curious to know if anyone else has found this or has any idea why it might occur ?
Re: DTG producing the South London network
I've seen the same thing, the pile is there the first time the route is used after loading it but on passing the location again in the same session it's not. I've reported it.Thugsy wrote:I have a really odd issue with this route which I have only discovered with a scenario I created heading from Clapham J to Surrey Quays. Re: DTG producing the South London network
This is caused by an issue loading the tunnel hole decal asset. The 'pile' is terrain which should be permanently hidden by the decal.

Re: DTG producing the South London network
But why I have to ask? The two classes sounds completely different. The supplied sounds appear to my ear to be from the 455, which would be correct as they share the same traction motors as built (EE/GEC507), so if any AP pack was to be used, it should really be the 455's.twirlycactus wrote:How would I alias the 456 sound to the AP 319 pack?
