Hi
I really like the new route and it's made even better once you have added the Workshop extension, just a shame it didn't included Waterloo East and Charing Cross
This is only personal to me as my Dad used to work in the Borough down Blackfriars Road, his office over looked the railway where the line to Charing Cross went under the line from I think Cannon St,he used to work on a Saturday morning and I would go to the office with him and watch the trains, in those days there were Spamcans,Schools,BR std 4MT tank loco's and the good old 4 Subs.

If you shut off power, then silence - no track sounds at all.
Even with power on, there are no track sounds.

Uninstalling via Steam, then re-installing to see if that cures anything.
Same problem for me but I've uninstalled and reinstalled the route 3 times this evening with no joy and I have no AWS or track sounds. Hoping to avoid a verify cache but I think it might be the only solution. Anyone have any alternative suggestions?

Have the exact same problem, on my 4th verify cache now.

I know South London quite well and used to live just down the road from Norwood Junction so my thoughts on this route are mixed. London Bridge is quite impressive, although not sure why P14/15 are so long as in reality they stopped where P16 does. It would also have been nice if little inaccuracies from London - Brighton had been fixed, such as the missing carriage road at Battersea Pier, absence of connection from Up Slow to P8 at Victoria and the length of Pug's Hole sidings, which looks like it could have been rectified by moving the signals in the siding to allow an 8-car to be placed.

Have you changed the area around Earlswood at all? I was working on that area (again), Making there be junctions at Earlswood North and reduced the severity of the track separations just before Redhill Tunnel.

I'd be happy to give you the tiles to add to a future update if you'd like, when i've finished them.

Hi

Is the South London to Brighton combined route set up as a Quick Drive route ? I installed it but there are no QD paths.

Thanks

219 points?. I tried setting up an incoming route 52 working into P8 but was thwarted from being 100% accurate routing wise by this. An alternative routing was duly set :) ,

Make sure TS2015 is not running and go in to your Steam Desktop Client
Find your games and Right Click on TS2015 - another box pops up and the right hand Tab is DLC - click on that.
Go down the list to the South London Route and Untick it.

Close the Steam Client then reopen it - go thru the process to the DLC TAB and find the South London Route and Re-tick it
That should make the system reload the route and any missing files without a verify.

I have seen that some users don't appear to be getting any AWS or track sounds when running in the Class 456.

Just installed the route 'out of the box' and ran a 'Quickdrive' in a 456 from New Cross to London Bridge all sounds were audible? In fact ignoring an AWS put the brakes on so that works!!

Can anyone else confirm that they are unable to use Quick Drive paths starting at West Croydon (Bay)? As I mentioned earlier, each one I've tried has had a 'Driver failed to find destination' error for South Bermondsey.

For what it's worth, my 456 has AWS and sounds!

Just done a Quickie from West Croydon Bay to Clapham and all was fine?

Thank you for the pointers. I was uninstalling it as suggested but not shutting down Steam afterwards. I have tried it 3 further times with a full Steam shutdown after uninstall but I'm still getting the same results. Given the 375 works perfectly on the route shows the route is OK and it appears to be fine for the majority of other users I'm coming to the conclusion it must be something wrong with my setup.

I'm not too familiar with how the cab sounds work so can anyone give me any pointers as to how the cab sounds are referenced so I can try and manually check if the files are where they should be?

Thanks

Hi,

Downloading now and got a bad feeling about this! Supposed to be 1,394Gb download and mine is only 665.7Mb? When I finished purchase, a window appeared asking did I want to install start menu and TS2015? I closed this as I already have all the game/sim installed. Now I am wondering if the thing is downloading a stand alone version and maybe problems later, never had this before. We shall see.

Wondering if anyone is up for the task of building Cannon Street/London Charing Cross...

Hi All,

Re my earlier post, I finished download and it worked OK! Ran a scenario 'Inner Southern Service' without career scoring' enabled and all went well. The second scenario unfortunately froze my pc but after a restart (Used Task Manager) loaded up same scenario 'Winter Commute' (After this time enabling career scoring) and ran fine from end to end.

First impression is I like it very much, the first scenario was very immersive and looked like a lot of work has gone into this. Glad I bought it. Will have another look tomorrow.

The route is extremely good, (liking the graffiti and cabling :D ) one of the best yet! On par with the West Highland Line. BUT the 456 lets the side down and also the scenarios only use the 375 and 456 making it slightly unrealistic. Just waiting for the 319 sound pack to include the 456. And more scenarios

I see lots of people asking for a realistic AI scenario...
