So can you tell me how it all works? You get the installer from get games or they just give you some code? And is it JT's installer?Springer6 wrote: I bought the Reggio version and indeed the DVT can be driven, thanks for the advice.
I have yet to find out if it will work with another loco other than the BR111.

Thanks a lot, Peter.
Re: Get Games TS2014 Sale
Yes more or less how I got it, but mine was a JT download ( probably because I already had a JT account.
Re: Get Games TS2014 Sale
So I got it too. JT installer with an activation code. I let the installer put things into a temporary folder so that I could easily copy the content to both TS2014 and TS2015 (I have them both and separate).

That's a good idea !.
I can also confirm that the "DVT" with the Regio package works fine with most other German locos I've tried (143,101,151,110,Taurus etc. not just the BR111 unit), especially when it is designated as the driven unit ( with a driver icon). It is a little bit more "flaky" when the loco is the driven unit and you swap ends , but it can still be made to work
Re: Get Games TS2014 Sale
Just a quick comment and question regarding this sale...
I am missing BR 111 Dosto manual (which is not a big deal as it can be downloaded from vr.de site for free) and also, the descriptions of BR 111 S-Bahn are, well, messed up, as this pack claims to contain scenarios for Cologne-Dusseldorf (and contains scenarios for Ruhr-Sieg instead).
Not that I am complaining, I had these in my sights for several months now and I finally got them (and for this price I can forgive a lot), but I would just like "to compare notes" with others.
And other than these cosmetic problems, everything seems to be OK...

Funny, I bought the BR111 S-Bahn (the orange livery) and the BR120 TEE and both were downloads from GetGames but I do already have a JT Account too, with the same e-mail address, and yet they were not delivered to me via JT / my JT account...
I realized only later that GetGames is a MasterTronic brand and therefore the same as JT, after I had already installed both and was surprised to see the familiar JT installer!
Cheers,

I had the same issue regarding no manual for the BR 111 Dosto after install.felix47 wrote:Just a quick comment and question regarding this sale...

I couldn't find on the vr.de site where to download a copy. Can you or anyone please point me to the link? Thanks in advance.

Find the BR111 Dostos on the Virtual Railways site. When you have click on it as if you are going to buy it, and on the next screen that pops up click on the manual tab and then click on EN which should start the download of the manual. Don't forget what language you want VR to display in on the main page.

Trev123 is absolutely right.
This is it (I was not at my main computer for a few days, so I was unable to answer).
Also, there is a nice selection of various scenarios (listed as "Activities" in english, courtesy of MSTS terminology no doubt), though I suspect that some of them are already included.
