The 395's don't go to the Channel Tunnel - they leave HS1 at Ashford, which is 34 miles and 21 mins driving.
If you extend to the tunnel there is no stock available to drive on the route.
Unless you run a night freight with a 92.

Would love to see the line to Dover Priory myself - I am US based but my son has been going to school in Canterbury and living in a Deal for the past 3 years - would like to see the lines I ride with him in TS as well.

I know that. The fact is the classic line which the 395s use through Westernhanger, Sandling and past Dollands Moor into Folkestone West runs parallel to HS1 from Ashford anyway so a route build would require both lines to be modelled. Bring out a long-awaited Eurostar add-on with it and we have the cherry on the cake

I would also like a Eurostar as they are great trains.
The new versions are a Velaro D so if DTG bring out a version of it we might get a new unit.

The Velaro is a slightly modified ICE-3, which they already have a model of, so it shouldn't be too complicated either...

Although they are both EMU's there are quite a few differences between the ICE-3 and the Velaro-D.
If they were more alike Siemens would not be having as many problems with the new units.
