It seems that they (RSC) have gone back to v48.0a here to night,
And my Mod works again :D

Well this just spotted on FB:
RailSimulator.com Hi John, we are working on releasing periodic updates over the next few months as opposed to one large update. These updates will focus on different areas of the simulator such as the UI, content fixes/ improvements, Track IR implementation, Oculus implementation, Third party controller support and general optimization and will be released at separate intervals.
Meaning that soon, your patch might just not be needed anymore!

Of course, we'll have to wait and see how well they will do the implementation. But at the very least your patch must have shown to them that TrackIR support is very much wanted by the community!

And regarding "third party controller support", this sounds interesting as well. I wonder if this will help to make RailDriver work better, and to make other joysticks work better without the need for Havner's standalone utility.

They have refused to support TIR. since 2006/07 (as I remember it)
