Multiple save & resumes with TS2015

Post by wad53 »

Please pardon my newbyness if this is not new, but I just discovered a pleasant surprise with TS2015.

I had been running a series of scenarios with WLOS (brilliant route BTW) and had saved one when I ran out of time. I had forgotten to complete it when I later started a new scenario with London to Brighton route, but also saved it to finish later. After remembering about the WLOS scenario, I checked to see if I could resume and was surprised to find that I could. I was also able to resume the L to B one .
Maybe this was also available in TS2014 but I wasn't aware of it due to only using the specific "Resume" function from the main menu. Perhaps this might be why the main Resume option has been removed from the main menu in TS2015? I've not seen this mentioned before, only complaints about the main Resume feature being removed in favour of only resuming from the specific scenario screen.

Again, maybe this is not something new, but I'm pleased to now discover a multiple save / resume feature.

Your suspicion is correct: it's not a new feature.

It's not a new feature. This was always available already when trying to start a scenario, for which a save-game was available.
However, the 'resume' button was still very handy.

Ideally I'd love a menu with all scenarios which can be resumed... :-)
