Good Morning
I tryed to run the activity ,on the London/Peterborough route ,with the new Hitachi train:
the name is: "the 801 at 8h01"
it seems that it is bugged , because after leaving , we must wait at a red traffic light , without moving , and I can't finish the activity....Gave you got the same problem ?

I did one activity with this train but I can't remember which one. You can't pass the red light with the 'Tab' key? You drove right up to the signal?

I had a look at the 'Steam Railworks Forum' and indeed it would appear that it is a known bug unfortunately. I don't have this route to check it out but if you go to the Steam forum you will find it listed as, '801 at 8:01 Career Scenario Possible Glitch' I am sure it is the same scenario that you are having issues with.

Hi jean-pierre, yes you are correct, on mine it is because the 07:35 Kings Cross to Peterborough ahead of you is stuck.

No, if you didn't yet own it before, it can be obtained as part of TS2015 when you buy the TS2015 Steam Edition or the Standard Edition however, and can also still be purchased separately..

But the automatic upgrade of TS2014 to TS2015 will not contain the route Kings Cross to Petersborough, it only adds the Academy.

The new 801 was the first locomotive I had a go at when ts2015 came out, I also had the same issue with that scenario, tabbing won't let you pass the red signal as there's an Ai train ahead of you at the next signal which is also red, there's another Ai train right next to the other one with a green signal but it never moves. I did send an email off to dtg about it, who knows when it'll get sorted.

Just searched 801 at 8:01, as I have encountered the same scenario bug - so apologies for dragging this thread back up...

Has anyone managed to complete this one?

I have tried it a few times (from a save after the station stop)...

The emu on the slow line always leaves the station first, and no matter how hard I accelerate in the 801, I can overtake the unit, but it always gets the road where the line goes from 4 to double track. That leaves the 801 stood at a red, but for some reason the unit stops just ahead and blocks the line

The really odd thing...

If you use the free camera to go ahead and look at the emu, it's head / tail lights suggest that it has tried to reverse direction and head back the line towards you

I tried this scenario again the other week, hoping dtg would have got round to sorting the scenario out by now but nope it's still broken!

This scenario can be completed if you CLONE it (nothing else) in the editor and run that. What you don't get is the full rolling start for some reason. Everything else runs as it should, why I don't know, and you get the gold star if done correctly but no points added to your total. We'll have to wait for a fix from DTG for that. But when ???
