can someone please offer to enlighten me a bit, and tell me (and pardon the pun, as well !) What's the story behind "The Story of Forest Rail" ?? I just don't recall seeing anything much about this particular route, at all. I'm not really a Social Media fan, and I rarely ever even glance at Facebook or Twitter, for that matter.
A LONG WHILE BACK, I noted the route showing up when I started TS2014, and it's STILL there, with nothing further being lauded about it. Anyone able to tell me more about it, so I can now feel I'm "in the know" ? If you do know something positive regarding it, I'd be extremely pleased to be told as much as you know, thank you kindly !

Probably best to email DTG. Just had a look on Facebook and Engine Driver but couldn't find any release date.

Hi, and thanks for that - it's actually the first time I've actually heard anything more about this subject. I got another repply to my original post, which took me to a second place that told me that it was a Japanese route, and was the first one by DTG. It should be interesting to see how it looks, and although I did play the MSTS Japanese routes, they weren't as interesting as other routes for MSTS, that came a bit later, like Maeias pass (it got better) and The Full Bucket Line, which provided mucg more, in the way of activities, as time progressed. I just feel that Microsoft didn't really show much enthusism about the whole thing, butsurprisingly enough, some perple are sticking to MSTS, but not me 1 started up with Rail Simulator as soo n as it arrived on the market, and was amazed at how much easier it was, overall, to use the Editor, compaired to MSTS. Never looked back since !

Hi mate !
At least this explains everything to me now, and revealed I'd been right all along, in assuming that the scene was sorta Asian ! It might be worth checking out, as it was a lomg time back, when I last drove any Nip train, way back in early MSTS days, and that was positively in ancient times ! I'm not gonna rush into it either... just wait and see, first. But Im due a few hundred bucks, from my share of the Electricity Co. dividend - cheque's in my dest drawer already, and have to take it to the bank on Monday. It'll take 2-3 working days to clear, and that's not long, really. I might use it to get a copy of that route, if it's going to be released this week. Thanks again, and hearty cheers !

Talking of "it's been advertised for yonks, now!" what has happened to the various Castle class variations which were promised for release in Marketplace early August - I was looking forward to these. To be fair I don't think they stipulated the year though!!

Wasn't there something about asking what traction to include with their (London?) - Bedford route? Been waiting to see that as a 'coming soon' on the load up screens, not that the screens have changed for a while now
