Are there any six-wheel diners included? AFAIK that's the only type of carriage missing to make a 100% correct mid-50s "Pines Express" for Bath - Templecombe

Did you mean six-wheel total or six-wheel bogies? In this set there are 2 restaurant cars, the 1st class is a 65ft 1ST (DIA 1902) which has four-wheel bogies, same as the 56ft 3RD (DIA 1904) 3rd class restaurant car included.

There's a 12 wheel RSO in the original P3 pack at Making Tracks Online

Hi USRailFan,

A LMS 12-wheel restaurant third in three liveries is included in the earlier LMS P3 pack by the same author, published by Making Tracks under 'LMS Period 3 "Stanier" Passenger Coaches'. See:

Just uploaded a scenario for the P3 Stanier Extras. Set on the WLOS. It's the 22:00 Northern Irishman Sleeper known as The Paddy. Runs from Stranraer to Carlisle. I have supplied 2 versions the original timetabled one ( which has a problem) and one with the timetable removed. Recommend the one without timetable. Kept having a problem at Dumfries where a 2 minute stop could either take 30 seconds or last nearly 8  . Makes keeping to time a bit difficult so the NO TIMETABLE ones included. Recommend driving with Auto Fireman to as the locos drop plugs going over summits on manual. Based on a scenario by Pat Dalton (Pdee) with kind permission

Nice scenario Sean, very interesting train formation. I have however made a clone where I changed the departure time to 5 hours earlier. Driving at night is challenging but I have a big problem seeing anything so I decided to have the ferry from Belfast come in earlier so that the Paddy can drive into the sunset.

One question: The Black 5 pilot engine does not show the headlamps. I have tried to switch them on with Ctrl+Shift+2 and 4 as well as changing the code in the scenario editor but no joy. Does this perhaps have something to do with the snowplough at the front?

I think I did forget to set that up. There's always something. I'm working away for a few days so I can't test. If putting a letter before loco number in the editor don't work then if you have RW tools try swapping the loco for another WLOS black 5. You can also do this in an ordinary editor but it's not so straight forward

Just a polite request - would anyone fancy doing a reskin of the Inspection Saloon in this pack into GWR chocolate & cream livery? That would go so well with the West Somerset Railway Members' Edition route and complement some of the scenarios available very nicely, as the WSR took delivery of just such a coach last year and are now running it.

As you suggested I swapped the Black 5 for another, the intermediate weathered version, and now the headlamps are present. Funny thing is that I also discovered that the loconumber does not appear on the cab and smokebox (both scenarios). Anyway the loconumber as it appears in the editor looks like this: A##5f45596, and that is the reason. I took the ##5f out and with the resulting A45596, the number appears (and the headlamps are still there). This also happened when I swapped the Black 5, so it appears that you did not forget to set it up but that the sim produces an incorrect loconumber. I first thought that the additional ##5f had something to do with the plough. As to why the headlamps do not appear on the original lightweathered Black 5, I have no clue.

The sim won't do that on a whim, it only tries to display the numbers it's told to display from the relevant .dcsv file so it's likely to be human error rather than a fault in the game.

Probably my fault as I swapped the loco last minute as I had forgotten the plough. Think I just added "with plough" after loco def in the scenario.bin. Probably not the way to do it

Ah! Twisted my arm. I'll try and get a reskin done by the weekend, and maybe one or two others. No promises though, got a lot on of late. There will be a BR Blue/Grey version in a Blue pack I'm working on.

Big thanks to Sean for the scenarios.
