Hi

I've just downloaded and installed this new route from SSS and it is a really excellent route,I have just had a run along the main line from High Wycombe to Brill,High Wycombe Town looks well modelled,and you have the feeling you are running through the Chilterns.

Just one point there were a few flying people at West Wycombe station,the other part of the route branches off and goes to Maidenhead
It comes with 2 Scenarios and a handful of quick drives to get you going.

To add interest to the route being a joint Great Central\ Great Western Route you can run any thing from a King and A3 to a Hall\B1.

thanks to every one involved in making the new route,I forgot to add it's free.

I hope you are not suggesting commercial developers should distribute routes with all points had-operated! The "readme" says this will be fixed in due course but for me it is ridiculously unrealistic to have hand-operated points in running lines. I'll wait patiently for the next version, disappointing for now as I used to work on the line and was looking forward to this.

What he is saying is the points on the main line should have point motors not hand levers,only the yard points should have them,personally myself I still think it's a good route and to tell the truth I hadn't noticed that all the points had hand levers until pointed out.

Just installed and looking forward to venturing out on the track,before I do I find that I am missing this file: Hall Engine_CRE.bin from RSC\FalmouthBranch\RailVehicles\Steam\Hall\4936 Kinlet Hall BR\Engine\ which I have installed. I know I can just swap it ,but before I do so maybe someone can enlighten me as to where to find?

I had the same problem, I just went into RWtools and swapped it for the version I have installed from the SSS pack. Worked fine, I suspect the the route creator either has an earlier version, or a non-standard one. Having problems with the QD now, keeps crashing the programme.

I see now you have pointed out what was meant by his comment, glad you agree with me about how good "generally" the route is.
I think it's nit picking considering the amount of work that has gone into it just to say about the points levers should be changed.

I payed for a route the other day and made comment in another thread about how low quality it was, and that it being released in that condition, that is what I meant by the comment I made about some payware routes.

This chap has worked hard on this and as far as I am concerned he has done a good job.

Hi,
I have had the same problem with that loco,can't find it anywhere,looked in my Falmouth Branch Rail Vehicles folder and also in my Hall Pack 01 folder in side the main Assets RSC folder.
Many thanks in advance for help finding this loco,at present I have swapped it for another Hall.

Oh well, as a number of you have had the same issues with the Hall I guess I'll just do the same and swap so that I can get out on the track.

edit : have swapped . For some reason unbeknown to me I can't get the scenario Brackley to Marylebone Stopper to work it keeps crashing while trying to load, with the Temp Dump window popup. The other one works fine.

For some obscure reason i have had to swap over all WSR freight stock for FAL stock,i do have WSR Route but the freight assets dont show,just the Steam and Passenger ones.I have done a Verify Cache,and the issue still prevails.Any ideas chaps?

I have exactly the same problem when trying to run the Brackley to Marylebone stopper..... The goods scenario runs OK.

This gift to the community is a very fine route for which I am very grateful. And with extensions planned to Oxford and Banbury (junction for freight and cross-country trains off the GC) we have a lot to look forward to!

Hello everyone

Let me first of all thank those of you who have offered there appreciation for the route. It's greatly appreciated by myself and I'm sure by Peter. The track situation is acknowledged in the best way we could. We've tried to make it clear what the situation is. It's version 1 for a reason. Some might say that we should have only released it once the track was perfect. However, this fails to take into account the endless hours of work which Peter has put into this route. We just wanted to get it out there, and address the track for the next version. This is Peter's first route. He deserves huge congratulations for what he has created.

I'd like to apologize for the mysterious Hall loco. That's a personal version of Kinlet and I accidentally referenced it. What scenario is it in?

The West Somerset wagons is a bit of a mystery. I'll try and find out what's going on there.

They were referenced in both Brackley to Marylebone Stopper and Diverted up Freight
