What I mean by that is that when the power handle is open it's supplemented by a sort of deep 'vrrroooommmmmm...vrrrooooooooommmmmm' it the power is off, it sort of winds down with it, not sure exactly what it is, but can be heard here as an example:
It is the ETH generator causing the sound, hence why only the /4s have that distinctive sound.

I remember seeing lots of screenshots of Scottish 37's in Mainline, RFD Etc: Presumably on an RSC model, Are they likely to appear on UKTS now if a new model has been made or were they by a separate developer?

I have never been a fan of single line routes in the simulator world as AI traffic is very limited, but that all changed with Keith Ross`s Port Road route as I like the single line section just as much if not better than the double track, if the route is made very well like Port Road then Single Lines are just as fun to drive, looking at the screen shots this route looks fantastic and I always like the Scottish Highlands, I will be buying this route

They'd most likely be based on the no longer available Class 37 Pack model(s) and with a little TLC can be used on the class 37s included with the Settle-Carlisle and Portsmouth Direct routes, to name but two. The 37 included with other routes may also be appropriate.

This is, I think, a definite day one purchase...and who can resist the temptation to take a SSS Black Five over it?

They were based on the original Class 37 pack.

There's couple of cracking HD reskins available with one or two AP scenario packs and these are based on the S&C class 37. One is the Pathfinder railtours stock pack which have two EWS liveries

RSC/DTG have released screenshots on their facebook page,
Wasn't a huge fan of the 37/4's when they first started to appear at Eastfield during the summer of 85, but ended up spending most of the following winter months on the WHL clocking up the mileage behind them. They grew on me.
