In which case it shouldn't work in 2015 with the weather system turned off. Politeness costs nothing by the way. I think that there is more to it than the weather system, I am curious to see if there is a way to get it to work in 2014. If not, it's not the end of the world, but it might just help some other people on here.

This is the first time I have bought a route at full price as I just couldn't resist it. I have looked down on this line from various mountains and I'm really looking forward to playing it.

No brake vehicle in green and cream, so I have done one of these as well. A BSK is technically incorrect as only BCK's received this livery if my mind serves me correctly, but the Guard has to sit somewhere:

Superb stuff

A quick word regarding the train brake. It would appear that the brake changeover switch is functional. In the Visit to the isles scenario at least it is set to Air Gds instead of Air Pass hence the very slow release. For passenger trains you need to set it to Air Pass for a quicker release, or obviously Vac pass if it's vacuum stock. Curious about the functionality in vac mode, but that can wait.

I'm sorry if it came across as harsh. But I do think there was logic behind a post-TS2015 release in that it wouldn't be possible to backtrack. However I will not stop you from trying to make it backwards-compatible.

So I would say it is more an issue of something in this route requiring 2015 rather than a steam list of downloads that may be an issue. Hopefully going to have a little play later and see what it is.
Well of course it doesn't work. For one thing it's designed to work with the 2015 weather systems.
The scenarios also make use of the new "hidden events" feature.

Although completely hidden they are not -- you can tell you are about to pass a hidden waypoint or instruction trigger because the distance counter to the next visible waypoint will remain frozen until that waypoint actually comes up next in line in the command queue! Somewhat of a bug, methinks...

Has anyone had an issue with the Free Roam scenario?

- in that according to the Banavie signalman on the RETB, the line out of Fort William is blocked despite all the points being set correctly and the colour light signal at the station showing green.

I'm told by the signalman over the radio that the line is blocked and I must hold position until it is clear before I can get my token.

I am enjoying the route so far. just one thing missing.......Jacobite steam :D the route is the right time period for the operation. that being said the route has got some water towers on it so maybe there's a chance we might get that later :D

It seems that when you set the loco brake correctly to air pass the speeds in the hud change to the Higher differential speeds. Game limitation, bug, or lack of knowledge? probably the former I suspect.

Seems to be confined to the free roam, get the correct lower speeds in the career scenarios. Anybody else experiencing this.

Have you seen this in the manual ? "When driving a Quick Drive scenario from the main menu you will always be shown the enhanced speeds for Multiple Unit (MU) trains on the HUD.". The same might well apply to the free roam.

If your service has a passenger priority, you will be shown the higher limits and if it has a freight priority, the lower limits.

Don't normally bother with free roam myself, but now I'm curious as to how the brake changeover switch in the cab would change the train priority in the Free roam. I though it more likely due to scripts not working correctly in these circumstances, something that is known to be an issue sometimes with heavily scripted models. Given that the route has plenty of speed signs it's not an issue for me, but I know some who find it an issue.
