Praise Due

Post by johnrossetti »

Just like to say that Just Trains Scottish ECML is no less than sensational.
I always liked this route in MSTS but in RW it's brilliant. In particular I would like to congratulate JT with the Quickdrive. no less than 22 seperate QD Options.
Coming out of Waverley Station is almost heart stopping with the number of AI Trains coming at you from all directions !!!
Other route makers, please note, this is the way it SHOULD be done.
Thanks JT

Absolutely agree with this.

Huge kudos to 'Mully' the routes actual creator. I have had SECML for quite some time and it is one of my favourites for sure!

I concur. This route is just absolutely stunning. Crossing the Firth of Tay in sunset is just amazing, stunning. Crossing the Firth of Forth is impressive. I love the details such as the moving ships, landing airplanes.
Everything on this route seems well done and looking great.

Top quality route.

Excellent I'm glad I'm not the only one, and thanks to Mully too.
At 657MB it is a big route, Marias Pass is my largest at 627MB. however the frame rates are fine, much better than some smaller routes,,,,,but oh JT I would now LOVE you to extend it (like RCS did with Faversham) For this type of quality I would be happy to pay for an extension North to Aberdeen or EVEN South to Carlisle !!!!! both are equally pretty.
Thanks again

Run a forum search for "Aberdeen Angus" and you should find links to a freeware route that might interest you---I can't remember the details so sorry to be so sketchy.

If you went south to Carlisle? then you only need the bit to Carstairs East Jn as WCML-N takes over there.

I remember reading an interview with Mully on the Mullysoft site in which he spoke of extending the route to Aberdeen and Stirling and completing the section between Perth and Ladybank. Hopefully this is still a go.

SNIP>> well worth downloading and enjoying!!
Many thanks for that link GP looks very nice.
Is it an extension of SECML or a seperate route ?
I SO want existing Routes EXTENDED.
Portsmouth (to Reading) etc etc
Brighton (to Waterloo) etc
I can understand why RSC Workshop thingy only want their routes/assets, so maybe to extend an RSC route you have to do it in two chunks
Chunk one the Rails, land, and any other RSC Asset
Chunk two the UKTS and other Free Community stuff
I think thats the way I'm going to do my Port Road extension.
I think DT are missing an opportunity not extending more existing stuff, like they did with Faversham.
Thats what should have happened with Watercress Line. ADD it to Portsmouth then you have to buy both, which you would anyway. !!
Riviera next,, ?
