google overlay question.

Post by class1987 »

Hi everyone I've recently completed a route (just track) while using the old decals and now since I found out about overlay some months back I want to place it on the overlay instead of keeping the decals save all the mess it has caused on my route and having to delete every single decal when route is fully complete. Any way of cut and pasting my track onto a new route to place on the overlay? Like using track bin files?

Chears, Ian. :)

No need to put it onto a new route, RWDecal comes with an option to remove all decals from a given route in the RWDecal dialog.

I'm pretty sure you can't distribute the overlay either, due to Google's copyright so it'd be a pointless exercise if that's your intention. Decals, and Google overlay are just aids when building a route and should be removed if you wish to share the work.
