No Martin, not you. When I set up those batch files, my knowledge of them was in it's infancy somewhat. I am gradually going through them all and updating them to a version that works, but there are one or two to do :-? .

Thanks for your feedback,
Richard

Also want to say a big thanks for the reskins, currently having a play about with the NSE 456! :D
Any plans for a Cityflier/Metro repaint of the 319? Would allow prototypical scenarios to be created pre-FCC.

I can't get this to show up in the game unfortunately. I dropped the main folder into the assets of my TS2015 and then ran the two installers given in the download within that folder. I then copied the default files also include and dropped them in as well. And Cleared Cache. But, no train in game. Could someone please explain what I'm doing wrong as there weren't any instructions? I just sort of guessed at what to do.

Puzzled by the reference to two installers, as there is only a single batch file to run.

Taken directly from the readme:
Unzip the file to a temporary location, ie. desktop.

1. Install the .rwp file using the TS Package Manager.

2. Go to the folder: (Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC)
and run the 'InstallMe319NR' batch file.

3. That should be it.
Hope this helps,

Richard

Apologies Richard. I hadn't scrolled to the bottom of the readme as I thought it was just licence information. I've followed the instructions and hopefully it will now work. The second installer I meant the 7za.exe file which I didn't really know what to do with.

No problem at all,

The 7za.exe file just extracts the required files from the DLC's .ap file, and should vanish once the batch file completes it work (along with the latter also).

Thanks. I now have the train showing up in the game i.e. I can place it onto the track and sit in it which is good. But, the train has no sound and the controls don't work. :-? I do have the AP Sound Pack, but it is not currently installed on my TS2015 as I've only just bitten the bullet and gone to TS2015. What might be going on here?

You do need to have the AP sounds installed for the reskin to work after installing the .rwp etc.. However, anticipating that not everyone has this audio pack, I did include some extra .bin files that will function with the DLC in it's 'default' state. Again, taken directly from the readme:
However, if you do not have the AP sound pack installed, I have provided alternative .bin files that use the
default audio - these are in the folder named 'Default_bin_files' that you can find in the .zip file. Copy the
4 files within this and paste them to the following folder and overwrite when prompted:

Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\Class319Pack01\RailVehicles\Class319\NorthernRail\Engine
But seeing as you do have the AP sounds available, then both options are open to you.

Right okay. Bit further on. So I've now installed the AP Sound Pack and have got sounds, controls on the train. But, strangely I can't draw power and the tail lights are switched permanently on at both ends and I can't get headlights to show. :-? Is there anything I can do here? The reskin does look fantastic Richard.

First thing to note is what route/track type you are running on. The Northern reskin only includes an AC version, so if you are on DC 3rd rail track, that'll be why you can't draw power. As for the tail lights being on at both ends, I see the same as yourself, until you move off and then the headlights if switched on will show correctly on the front.

Make sure that you re-install the AP sound pack fully as this fixed mine. Had a similar problem and re-installing the sound pack fixed it. Also make sure that you run the InstallMe319NR in the (Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC folder before and it should then pick up. You will robably need to clear the cache but it should work fine.
