That 319 looks quite smart. Much better than FCC livery.

I quite like the class 319`s and that livery really suits them. Non gangwayed units always look better the through gangway although very practical does make the fronts look rather untidy. Another fantastic reskin thanks rfletcher

Thanks Richard, I really like your reskins and the ease of installation, such a joy to install. Nice 319 that, strange that in quick drive though that I can't start at or go to Preston? Not a problem with the reskin obviously but curious all the same.
Best Regards

Martin, can you run the NR 319 at all in QD on the Shap route?. I am pretty sure I included Shap in the list of drivable routes.
Thanks again,
Richard

Re: Northern Rail 319
I think the new Nothern Rail livery really suits the class 319. I wonder if Northern have any plans to re livery the class 321 and 322.

Re: Northern Rail 319
I appear to be having a problem with the unit, I re installed the AP319 soundpack since the first time I used the reskin nothing worked? Now almost everything works, when I open the doors they will not close? The door lights on the interlock panel only illuminate briefly? Consequently one can't move the 319, anyone else experience this?
Best Regards

Re: Northern Rail 319
Reskins and this AP sound pack do not appear to get on very well at all for some reason, one factor for my inclusion of default .bin files. As set up, the reskin uses a clone of the 'default' FCC 319 .bin files as it's basis, after AP sounds have been applied, with only file paths to the numbering file, texture folder and .Geo files being altered to suit. No entries to any file paths that are amended by the application of AP sounds (ie. references to sound files, input mappers etc.) are made when setting up the reskin files.smarty2 wrote:I appear to be having a problem with the unit, I re installed the AP319 soundpack since the first time I used the reskin nothing worked? As I understand it, the AP installer should only look for and alter 'default' units files, and not be set up to look for any other liveries that a user may have installed?. Reskins should not be affected by running the AP installer again - as long as it installs to the default unit correctly, as it is the default folder and it's associated files that the reskin/s look to for almost all of their control functions. My point I suppose is that the reskins .bin files already contain the mods needed to run with the AP sounds and these shouldn't be altered by any subsequent running of the installer. This is certainly my experience previously in the case of the 319.
I could be (most probably) viewing this in too simplistic a fashion, so if anyone with a bit more knowledge in this department can shed any light I would be very interested their comments. I think that going forward any future reskins of mine for the 319 will contain only 'default' files, with 'AP' files being the option of the user to install, that would make my life a bit easier
Just a final point about unresponsive controls though, I find no controls move also until 'S' is pressed to alter the position of the reverser - this then unlocks the desk.
Regards,
Richard
EDIT: One afterthought Martin, do you happen to have the Class 319 Assets .ap file unpacked?

Re: Northern Rail 319
Hi Richard, originally no because the bat file wasnt copying the geo's, got the railvehicle folder out of the ap and ran it again, once more the bat file failed to copy over the files? Obviously I've missed something?
Best Regards

Re: Northern Rail 319
I have tried a quick drive for the FCC Ac 319 and that is suffering the same problem. I will let Rich know.

No Martin, not you. When I set up those batch files, my knowledge of them was in it's infancy somewhat. I am gradually going through them all and updating them to a version that works, but there are one or two to dosmarty2 wrote:Obviously I've missed something?
