This is a bloody good bit of kit! Thank you VERY much for sharing :D

Need to get the hang of setting the front view for the 321. I'm a bit picky and like to drive with no aid's like F5, so as I can see the brake gauge and speedometer clearly on the 321, I like to have the camera down. I tried setting numpad 5 to this slightly altered view, but when I move to the right with the right arrow key to set the destination blind, and move back to the left, it reset's to the original straight on view. I think I might have not done it correctly. I will try it again later on but the main thing is looking left and right is so much easier, it's extremely handy when coming into a station as I like to look left/right (depending on platform side) for the car stop markers.

Doing this with the mouse was difficult as you're trying to move the camera and concentrating on stopping too. Pressing numpad 4 or 6 makes it ten times easier!

Thanks for that pointer. The only view I want is sitting on the front buffers !!! Center of the track looking straight ahead.
Like shift +1 in MSTS !!!!
Its the best view in town I get it at the moment by editing the camera cab file but its a pain.

Great when I cannot use the Track IR because of light on in other part of room that throw it off. Very good for quick looks at instruments and out of side windows

When you think about it, it's really very odd that you can't just add camera positions into loco config files to get the views you want.

I'm sure the guy who wrote that "RW Camera Cab Position" program has researched that, but the claim seems to be you can't add any positions, just alter existing ones.

Otherwise, the problem would be pretty much solved on all levels...

Yes, I have TrackIR as well, and did use JSJ's patch -- but got tired of it breaking with each TS core update! :( Besides, I kind of strain my neck preatty easily, and keeping my head "TrackIR straight" puts some extra tension in that area, so CVK works out as a nice compromise for me!

BTW, CVK 1.11 is up on the site; fixes a "convenience bug" plus adds a few more JustTrains locos (including the Patriot Class "Baby Scot" that was just on sale!).
