I've just picked up this loco, and have been enjoying a couple of runs with it. However, I have a couple of questions.
Is there an improved sound pack available anywhere for this loco, the default sounds seem a bit underwhelming to me, particularly compared to some of the other available Steam loco sounds available? I guess it may be possible to swap the sound from another steam loco, but I'm pretty new to TS2014 and would prefer not to have to do any complicated file management.
Also, maybe this is a dumb question, but is there an easy way to overcome having the emergency brakes applied. I assume it is related to the AWS activating, but I'm driving the steam loco with my head out the window most of the time (can't see too much signaling etc in the cabin view), and I don't hear the audible activation outside the cabin. I've tried searching the forum, but not found an easy answer. I did read a suggestion somewhere to use "Simple Driving" mode, does this solve this issue for the steam loco's? I'd prefer not to use that mode if possible though.

Re: Flying Scotsman (Black) Sounds
hi warren!
Regarding the sounds. None are yet available, though SSS may have an A1 soundpack in the future. judging by the poll they held few months ago.
Advice for the AWS system. A forum member or two, may know a fix to hear the AWS in the heads out view. However, it will be overwritten with every steam update. I have this problem too, what I do is everytime I see a signal ahead or the magnet on track, just pop into the cabview, wait for the bell. Or acknowledge the siren then go back to the heads out view
