What we need now is a mittelrheinbahn set! :) Although not strictly realistic.

hi, ...

Part of the Rhine line is real from 2015 served with the German national express GmbH in passenger service. This is a subsidiary of the British national express rail.
On the RB48 distance the following hold points Cologne - Bonn - Remagen.

..the red Chair is from "abellio" Design and not from national express.

Very nice Iceman! Will be anticipating driving these once the download finishes! By the way, do these reskins have a PreLoad folder for QuickDrive operations?

And a RegioJet version has just popped up on Railworks CZ/SK at http://railworks.ofpmafia.eu/index.php/ ... pro-br-442.

Kind regards,

If anyone reads this I could really use some help. I have downloaded five reskins so far for the BR 442 DMU and have installed each according to the enclosed instructions but have yet to have any show in the game. Granted the instructions are all in German but I translate them and understand what they are asking me to do and I zap the cache but still no joy. I've gotten them listed under scenario builder but when I go to position a component all I get is the usual clanking but no visual. They all look fantastic in the screen shots on these pages but they just aren't working for me.

Please help.

Sounds like you haven't copied the geo files over. And the 442 is an emu.

For some reason my earlier reply of "yes, I have copied the four GeoPcDx files over each time" wasn't posted.

Such a nice looking and handling EMU :) Just wish I could drive it in something other than DB red.

I have all the reskins and they all show, you have extracted the relevant assets from the ap file yes?

Oh yea. Unzipped the "BR442Pack01Assets.ap" file with each individual install attempt although not all of the install instructions mentioned doing that. Even unzipped it and overwrote the default files with one of the repaints (yellow RegioJet version) rather than making it an alternate version. But even in that case I still had the default red DB version in the game when I went to load the loco which made no sense. And I cleared the cache in settings/tools before checking to see if it worked.

I read in the FAQ section of this forum that the unzipped files have priority over the AP file. So I haven't removed the default "BR442Pack01Assets.ap" file.

Hi, it might be that the repaint only changes the hi or low res version rather than both - try increasing detail to highest.
