Project Freiberg stock downloads

Post by lwaxl00 »

Ive installed this route to run the BR95 on and I must say I'm impressed it has a bit of everything. One problem I do have though is trying to download the freeware stock for the scenarios. Clicking on the links doesn't do anything, is http://www.uploadarea.de a facebook page? Also I've found I have another German steam loco, a BR52 and I cant remember where this came from. :-?

The BR 52 comes with the European Asset Pack
If you had Railworks/TS2012 it was included. Since then you would get the pack with some of the larger routes.
Or you might have purchased it.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/208300/

You have to allow the links to work from the pdf file or word document.
I normally get a question if I want to allow the link to work.

That's what I have been doing but I keep getting a message saying 'this page cant be displayed'. :( It works fine when I click on the links to the payware pages.

The BR52 is a Kuju loco from the European assets or the pre-2013 version, there are a few variations available on Railsim.de. Which, by the way is where the links point to, it being the main German forum for TS2014. I have no problem following the links, although they do seem to move from time to time. But you can go to the main site, click on downloads and search through them for what you need. If you have no German, most browsers have a translate option available if you right click on the page. The translations can be strange, but you can get the gist. There is also another freeware steamer available on Railsim.de, can't remember if a second, the Glaskasten is in the download area or linked in the forum.

The downloads for steam engines on the rail-sim.de forum are here at this link:

http://rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index.php ... Itemid=207

It seems this is 90% repaints and modifications of the BR52 and the Astauder BR38.

The link to the BR38 from Astauder is:

http://rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index.php ... Itemid=207

I did not see a link to the "Glaskasten" so this must be from one of the forums, I searched around a little bit and came up with this forum post:

http://rail-sim.de/forum/index.php/Thre ... post106474

Which hopefully has a working download-link (didn't try it out).

If it doesn't work, you can search all forum boards on rail-sim.de for glaskasten and see what else it turns up:

http://rail-sim.de/forum/index.php/Sear ... glaskasten

Cheers,

The coaching stock was from RW-0381 and most was freeware, then it became payware, a few bits (4items) were still available on Rail-Sim.de recently but even with the payware items the coaching codes seem different and cause problems. Did at one point have all the freeware items, the route is fantastic, maybe somebody will make a new set of scenarios using the available stock.
.
Just looking in the German site and there are quite a few additional scenarios available, just going to check the needed stock !!!

Yes it appears from what I can decipher that nearly all required rolling stock is payware or repaints of payware. Also agree that this is a really nice route if you want to run all types of locomotive power.

Originally when the route appeared most of the coaching stock required for the included scenarios was freeware and available from RW/0381. However most of it has been upgraded and is now pay-ware, and in some cases the files no longer match, so even with the pay-ware it is a case of using RWtools. But it is a very nice route to drive over, so worth a bit of effort, and as already said there are quite a few scenarios for it, and a patch to add QD ai. The pay-ware is quite reasonably priced.

Route now updated and available here http://rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index.php ... Itemid=207 A lot of effort has been put into English translations to make the route as accessible to as many people as possible, puts our attitude to other languages to shame I think. Includes some freeware stock that is required and overwrites the previous version.

Firstly, I don't understand why these files should be in the GermanRailroadsRW folder rather than in the RSC folder, where the HageSieg route now sits, and secondly there is no scenery\structures\???? in the RSC\HageSieg\ folder. Do I need to do a verification or can these files be found elsewhere?

@ old grey owl do you have a pre2013, or post 2013 installation, it may be that the route/assets have been moved. IIRC Hagen Seigen was produced by GR for RSC. @ Micheal there are links to all the required assets in the excellent English readme. I wasn't aware that route riter worked with TS, I thought it was msts only.

Pre 2013, and I downloaded and installed all 32 assets as mentioned in the readme.
