The ECML

Hi fellow simmers,
I recently discovered that Just Trains are building the Newcastle - Edinburgh section of the ECML. With that done, we have routes set in modern times covering the London - Peterborough and York - Edinburgh sections of the ECML. I'm not sure about the Peterborough - York section, though. I know some routes have been built covering at least parts of this section, but they are set before electrification, right? So, when the Newcastle - Edinburgh portion has been released, how much remains before we have the complete ECML? Also, would it be possible to merge the different routes into one ECML "megaroute" covering the entire line all in one?
I hope these questions isn't too stupid, but I'm a MSTS guy who have only picked up Railworks due to the extensive collection of British rolling stock and routes aviable!
