With the steam sale I want to get a Rockies route, but which on is best? Stevens Pass or Canadian Passes?

Thanks

I suppose you should see what you want from the route.
Both routes are good but the Canadian route has just CP Rail trains where there is more variety on the Stevens Pass route

Have a read of the manuals and it might help you decide.
CP - http://store.steampowered.com/manual/222582
BN - http://store.steampowered.com/manual/222617

The things I look for in a route are:
  • Impressive and immersive scenery.

An interesting range of operational activities, especially in the included scenarios.

    Accuracy of train handling.

With what you are looking for then I would say Stevens Pass.

I don't own the Canadian Route. But Stephens will NOT disappoint. Fine route - Lots of scenarios, and dozens more on the Workshop. I think Maria's Pass is better - if you don't have it. I also REALLY like Sherman Hill - the best of the bunch for me, but I know some guys don't like it. Cajun Pass is another good one; though not in the Rockies. Good luck with your choice. I know I was fortunate to buy four more routes with this sale. And don't forget about Majestic Falls - FREE route in the workshop, and lots of bran new scenarios being made for it - seems daily another one or two are added. Real FINE route there - plus FREE. Again, good luck.
