Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!
Deleting the folder is pretty clean. Safer than using an uninstall that can leave old scenarios etc
Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!
Folder now gone, having used the in game delete route option

What about the missing texture at the SJDR trust. Surely that's an asset and wouldn't be fixed by deleting the route?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!
Where's the missing texture? - Can't say i've noticed anything
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.
Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!

Can also see the ballast overlaps the edge.

That's obviously the narrow gauge section at Washford and I believe Richard's NG 30lb track was used for that.
Suggest you drop Matt a line at Steam Sounds Supreme and he can check it out.

Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!
I must admit I was a bit confused about installing the members version.
I probably did install it without uninstalling v3 first.
Couldn't see any obvious difference TBH.
But then, seeing firstborn's 'To fix this, Find: "railworks\Content\Routes\32f055e1-35e6-4779-a0f0-ee761bfa8898" and delete everything inside, then re-run the v2 installer'
I thought I would. So I deleted the contents of the above folder - never made the slightest difference to WSR working - and re-ran the v2 installer.
Everything still looks as before. That folder where I deleted the contents is still there, empty, so obviously
nothing got installed into there. And as that's the case, why bother deleting everything from there in the first place?
Someone mentioned a while back in this thread, that a before and after comparison shots would be a good idea,
and I echo that. At least if one picture said 'This is Minehead station BEFORE' and another said 'This is Minehead station AFTER'
then I could be sure the newer version had installed properly.
As it stands,I'm still not sure!
(And why not number the newest version v4 and not v2. To go from v1 to v3 then to v2 seems rather strange).

Re: West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 OUT NOW!!
@davep
Yes Dave, you are confused. Reading through the earlier posts in this thread might have helped.
If you have (had) a West Somerset Railway Version 3 or 3.01 (206db8bb-b801-426e-a9ed-dfb591e6d3a2) on your machine, that would have been an earlier freeware version of the route that was released through UKTS. That one had nothing to do with the West Somerset Railway Members Edition. There was an even earlier version of that freeware route West Somerset Railway V2 (19839dcb-bbc1-443d-858a-10764f863941).
DTG released the West Somerset Railway (00000041-0000-0000-0000-000000002014) as DLC and then a West Somerset Railway Members Edition (32f055e1-35e6-4779-a0f0-ee761bfa8898) was released through the Steam Workshop. The latest release from SSS is West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 and overwrites 32f055e1-35e6-4779-a0f0-ee761bfa8898. (Although the recommended method of installation of West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 is to first remove the Workshop version.)
So the latest release really is West Somerset Railway Members Edition V2 and not West Somerset Railway V4 .
Hope that clears things up for you.

Matt & Phil
That's just brilliant and makes a lot of difference! Having looked myself, I do appreciate the difficulty of finding an existing model for Dunster castle that looks anything like right but many thanks for your efforts.

Invalid File ID [27068]
So this is an error most people would be having? Shouldn't the required tracks be packed with the route or listed as a requirement?
