Updating a route on STEAM

Post by markjudith »

I have uploaded my route to STEAM Workshop, and have a few subscribers. Now I have an updated version ready to go live which also includes a few scenarios. How do I update and when I do will it include the scenarios or will I have to upload them individually?
It is ready to be finalised. I don't want to use subscribers as guinea pigs!
Thanks for any advice.

From what i understand -

routes cannot contain scenarios... scenarios have to be uploaded separately (and individually)...

and scenarios cannot be uploaded until a route has been finalised...

a route cannot be modified, or fixed (if something is broken), or even "unfinalised" once it's been made final

In which case i would make double sure there are no route issues before you finalise it !

As a suggestion.. It might be a good idea to point the forum towards your route for people to check and give you the all clear - possibly give it a week or two for any issues to show up - before finalising!
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

Thanks

it has been under test for a long time before release but as you say it is worth leaving it for a while. I was just wondering what the process is, do you re publish the route from the in game menu or delete route & re publish, there doesn't seem to be any clear guidelines regarding this.
The route: Majestic Falls Railroad (can be seen in the screenshot section)
