50% off sale at Gamefly

Post by deltic009 »

Never heard of them but saw a comment on DTG Facebook page and there are several bits of DLC currently discounted by 50%, I'm guessing it would work the same as greenmangaming and similar who also have sales and provide steam codes to install the items.

Thanks for sharing the link! I've just bought the Class 465 that I've wanted for a while.

Regarding how Gamefly works, I got emailed a confirmation that has a button marked "Download Now" that takes you to the Gamefly website. Assuming you're logged into Gamefly, there is then a link on the product page to "Get Activation Key", which is a Steam key that can be entered in the Steam client in the usual way.

Thanks for the link - first purchase from Gamefly. Activation code came instantly by email and I'm downloading now. Also bought the 465 - bit of an impulse purchase, but at a good price. Was tempted by the ES44DC, as I recently got the Surfliner Route for free, but decided that starting on American DLC could be opening an expensive can of worms ;-) Anyway, thanks again, looking forward to playing!

All the best,

Steve

Wow, that was quick. Couldn't get on the site yesterday and now I can get on the sale is finished. Oh well, there will be another sale somewhere else sooner or later.

All the best, Richard
