Would someone with a generous disposition, feel inclined to do another guy a favour, by giving me a pointer to the S & C freeware V7 files, so I can download them together if possible ? Maybe the file ID numbers, or a positive way to search for the right ones in one go. Cheers for a gentle shove in the right direction !

You will find it at http://www.trainsim.com/ . If you search for the word "Settle" it will show up. There is a readme.txt file provided in the download that lists the other files required by the route.

That's not the same, Michael. That one's an extended clone of the RSC route. S&Cv7 is an entirely independent steam-era route.

I tend to use the S&Cv7 more than the RSC one. IMO it is far better.

I have all 3 S-C routes . The 1975 version is good but the freeware Settle-Carlisle v7 for steam era is by far the best and many scenarios available on here and Carinthia's site.
