Re: Workshop subscriptions don't work now
Don't be too quick Chaps and Chappettes to blame DG for any issues you are having with the Workshop.
It is my understanding (and experience) that any issues have appeared after the latest Steam client update, which took place after Monday's TS update. Plus let's not forget, the Workshop is Steam's baby and not that of DG.
Submit a support ticket to Steam and see what they say,
Just a thought,

I'm most certainly not, I'm far more inclined to believe it's a Steam problem as it was fine after the TS2014 patch but not after the Steam one. Have you experienced similar problems?rfletcher72 wrote:Don't be too quick Chaps and Chappettes to blame DG for any issues you are having with the Workshop.

None to speak of, but talking to others and a look at the 'timeline' of events as it were, then I suspect the problem lies with Steam,37114 wrote:I'm most certainly not, I'm far more inclined to believe it's a Steam problem as it was fine after the TS2014 patch but not after the Steam one. Re: Workshop subscriptions don't work now
Hmmm...I wonder if this has anything to do with the order in which the TS patch and steam client update were downloaded. I did not download the TS patch until Wednesday, in other words after the most recent steam client update, and am not suffering the workshop problem, I wonder if the folk with the workshop issue downloaded these updates the other way round, not that I see why this would matter.....just a thought.rfletcher72 wrote:Don't be too quick Chaps and Chappettes to blame DG for any issues you are having with the Workshop.

Re: Workshop subscriptions don't work now
Perhaps, different behaviors are produced by different types of windows account used for Steam/TS running:
for my installation, I use a user account not an administrator account.
PS: I made a new fresh TS2014 installation with a full verify files cache and I have the same problem: no items displayed under Collections/Workshop Subscriptions

Re: Workshop subscriptions don't work now
Thanks for that report, JLD95, that tells us that is it likely not an installation issue. At least I can get to pre-update items by accessing them through Loco or Route choices, but my Workshop area is blank and I cannot add new items. All else seems OK. I wonder if Seam is even aware of our situation?

Re: Workshop subscriptions don't work now
I don´t think it´s a Steam issue. I can subscribe any item on workshop and Steam download it. It´s TS2014 that does not install it, in every way.
And this is new: I have purchased the Canadian pass route and the achievements are recorded by Steam but not by TS2014. So, for now, Steam is working and TS2014 is sleeping.
Regards.

Hi All,
This morning, fired up TS and what a surprise, the workshop problem is resolved, at least for me. Checked I could download from workshop and also saw my sub's are all there so very happy this got resolved. Wonder where the problem lay after all this though?
Have a great weekend all and happy simming!
