Looks like the multiple working socket is wrongly positioned on the model too. Should be on the body front and not the bufferbeam (I'm assuming that's the cable you can see dangling under the driverside buffer).

Isn't that the steam heat pipe?

Think there's at least two there, one hanging vertically (steam?) and one looping back around the buffer (multi?).

Either way, there's clearly no sign of the multi-socket on the front.

Oh, and it's hard to see properly but I'm not seeing the lamp-brackets where they should be either. In fact, the more you look...

I had posted Id seen a picture with the cables in that position but on closer inspection it wasn't what I thought so I deleted it

Lamp brackets are in green just either side of the yellow warning panel

They're a bit small if they are, and should be on the front, not the edge of the bodywork.

Anyway this is just nit-picking, more importantly I'm not seeing a Westie on the side of this!

There are obviously some differences between the WIP model and the real thing. I see this thread has begun to attract unhelpful comment so I would suggest the best place to highlight these differences would be DG's Facebook page. Issues with the WIP Class 56 were pointed out on there and they have since corrected these, so it is clear they do take note of constructive comment,

You would not have seen a Westie on a Green loco

Just had a wee run in it from Stranraer to Dunragit.

I really like it, and I'm not easily pleased haha! I never had previous versions of this loco so don't know if the sounds are new or not, but they aren't too shabby. It sounds like a 27 and runs fine, the cab is a fair representation too. I wasn't to impressed by the initial pics DTG released but its actually a pretty nice looking little loco ingame.

1st impressions are - I'll be quite happy pottering up and down WLOS in this - roll on a BR Blue version though :D
