I am having a problem getting the scenario editor in rw tools to work on this route.
On anything other than the small size scenarios rw tools just freezes and get a not responding message.
All other routes in the scenario editor are fine.
Any thoughts please?????

forget the above, wasnt giving it long enough to load

I went in to the Map as I was checking the routes and there was a number of trains in the scenario I was running but also a load more spread around the system at most of the start locations.

It reminds me of a giant train set.
When you start to play there are a lot trains parked in different sidings and platforms and you pick one to play.

Haven't bought the route yet but from what I'm seeing it's a fantastic layout.

Are there, in the eyes of creators, any assets that would maybe prove most useful or is it mostly recycled items?

I had this, too. On a single yellow coming into Marsdon from the Cairnlochross direction.

Just FYI. we are very pleased that so many of you are enjoying Marsdonshire and thank you for purchasing it. As I am sure you are aware we are here reading what everybody is saying and I wanted to say that issues that are reported will be looked into and where appropriate and able, will be addressed in a future update (no timescale yet!), but in the meantime please continue to enjoy Marsdonshire. I look forward to reading both your positive comments as well as any reports on issues. Thanks.

I am enjoying this very much.Half the time spent driving and half scenery gazing!
OK, the scenarios are not up to much but they are still a good introduction.
I would think that there is terrific scope for interesting scenarios.
All in all very, very good value.

I was derailing at low speeds going out of Marsdon in an BR 111 had to go slow until I crossed the main line and up the other branch.

Adding to the comments above I agree that this is a very impressive route and a real bargain at the introductory price. I have driven a couple of the standard scenarios and on each one was asked if I wanted to continue (I obviously said no) and they are basic one step scenarios, start from somewhere and stop some 40 miles away, not complicated but a good way to discover the route. I've now had a good drive round in free roam mode and appreciated the amount of stock placed throughout the route, perfect for running a freight train from one place, dropping off then taking another freight service somewhere else.

Positives, the size and variety of the route, highly detailed and real attention to detail. The surroundings of Llandothry power station were particularly impressive; discoloured water in the cooling ponds and all manner of plant and machinery. The gradients were quite a challenge and the routing options and track work will provide many hours of pleasure. Negatives, all the signals are three colour or semaphore and I had several emergency brake applications passing yellow signals due to the misplaced TPWS. Overall though I'd say highly recommended and a bargain for £13.

There are quite a few new assets,Satellite TV dishes,Gravestones,i am sure theres more but i cant remember them at present(suffering form manflu)Oh yes Army Trucks,Tanks,Military buildngs and a chinook chopper.

For the Developers.
When i try to edit a scenario i am removed from the point of origin(loco) to Mardonshire Heritage center.I was trying to add an 8F Tender to the consist on the Military moves scenario,i swapped the diesel for a steam loco so needed to add the tender in on the scenario Editor.

Not seen it mentioned in this thread (if it has I apologise) but the 'resume' scenario problem has now been rectified by Just Trains.

Go to their website and download the setup file again, reinstall over the top of your orginal and the scenarios are fixed.

btw, I too am very frustrated by the lack of a workable signalling system - glad I bought at the discount price

One or two people have noted RW Tools being slow with this route and I think I know why.

I changed the Steam loco in the Free Roam that starts at the top of the mountain and along with the player train there are about 250 loose consists around the system - of which you might see about 10.
Although they only load on the track as you get to them the info is still there for RW Tools to work thru.

I ran the scenario from Marsdon to Portkeane via the coast and the underground section. In the Timetable Editor there are 72 AI trains listed - non of which moved in my 50 min trip.
It was a quite run :(

Yes I am seeing this as well - might also explain why I can only run the supplied scenarios with a reduced Kuju folder. Will be interested to see how it runs with fewer consists.

I am not having the problems a lot of other people seem to be experiencing. However, I have now run through three of the scenarios, and although there are many trains laid up I have only passed one actually running! Surely, there should be more? :-?

I have looked at most scenaros and there are very few 'running' AI consists - not the best advert!
