Alex - I had to lol at the WIP screenshots you posted of actual work taking place to modify the route. That shows a distinctly high level of dedication and a good sense of humour. Love it.

Have a great weekend all...

Thank you - we did find it amusing ourselves. We have told the mini workers to do 24 hour shifts to do get the work done ASAP! Have a good weekend yourself.

Wow thank you so much for actually taking the time to listen to your customers concerns about your products and even take it on the chin and have a laugh about it. Seriously as a gamer for many years ive seen a lot of negativity towards customers finding faults with games. I hope you have a buffet coach cooking up bacon butties for those little guys.

An updated version of Marsdonshire is now available! To update simply download the latest installer from the Just Trains account, uninstall the old one and install the new version. See http://www.justtrains.net/support/marsdonshire/c534889 for details.
The Marsdonshire network has had extensive attention to address various feedback from users. Here is a general list of the items that have been addressed:

Complete re-signalling of the network using the all-new custom built Just Trains Modern signals set.
Corrected AWS magnet positioning.
Third-rail electrification of the seafront line.
Adjustment of yards at Anstone.
Adjustment of Yards at Marsdon to remove sharp entry/exit curve.
Total recreation of scenarios to include Ai workings.
Quick Drives now have moving Ai.
Most Crossovers and Turnouts changed to reduce curve tightness.
Track speed adjustments.
Scenery changes to increase Frame Rates (FPS) in some areas.
Overhead electrification of the Test Track
Satellites dishes appropriately and correctly aligned to face the multitude of ‘MarSat’ TV satellites in orbit above the Marsdonshire network area.
Thanks,

Simon

Ok, just done a Quick Drive and a Free Roam.

A 365 unit fro the Quick Drive from almost the end of the line at Cairnlochross to Marsdonshire and it was quite good.
The signals have been improved with theatre route indicators or feathers showing more than one route.
The variety of AI was very good with a mix of uk stock from my collection 20, 33, 47, 67, 158, 166, 221, HST plus an A4 Steam special - great. :)

I tried a Quick Drive with a 3rd rail emu along the coast but no QD.
So I addend an emu in Free roam at Marsdonshire and set off - quite good at first until leaving the underground section and the 3rd rail disappears.
Cross over the big bridge near the Port of Keane and my emu is dead :(

So I tried a standard scenario with the class 47 moving some wagons to Marsdonshire works but it started briefly and crashed - the HUD was showing telling me I was moving at 1.$ mph?
I will try it again tomorrow.

When the third rail is complete it will be nice section with a south coast feel.

I want to add my thanks to JT for providing this update so quickly. It's really good to see some real service from a content provider.

I was quite looking forward to the coastal section with 3d rail, as a nice place to drive both underground stock and southern stock... I was on the verge of buying it yesterday after the update was published but I decided to hold out a little bit longer because I already have so much new stuff, well I hope that the 3d rail electrification along this section will still be completed and a QD added ;-)

BTW, JT, do you have any plans to also put this route up for sale through Steam, like some of your older routes? Then we can upload our scenarios for MarsdonShire to the Steam Workshop! :-)

Cheers,
