For some odd reason, the advanced jinty by Meshtools never works properly: the reverser never goes past 2% and the brakes start at 50% and don't go up to 100. I wasn't sure where to put this and this seemed like the only place. Anyway, is there a way to fix this?

Have you read the manual?

I don't own the Jinty, but I know it has advanced features and that may be your problem

It has a reverser lock and the reverser only allows changes in steps so it works quite unlike the norm for TS steam locos, although it's how they did work in real life. Like the Maerdy tanks which are similar, you can't move the reverser when the regulator is open. I know it's an old saw but you really do need to read the manual before driving this loco.

I actually did read the manual, but found no results. Then again, I think I read too fast.

I think as stated, reverser is moved when regulator is shut, well you can get away with it being less than 20%, but also as mentioned need to disengage the lock. Regarding the brakes, it's a combined braking system I think, and the scripting is set up to be realistic. So it may not show 100% but it works. Experimenting myself, the brake percentage is affected by, the combined brake handle, how open or closed the ejector is, the steam loco brake and the handbrake - I think. As long as you can release breaks apply them, and keep ejector slightly ajar you will have know issues.
