I did however download 19 diesel scenarios (for this route) from the workshop. I plan to alternate between steam and diesel. Again, THANK YOU ALL for your feedback. If you get a second, do you have any feedback on Settle-to Carlisle. Very likely that will be my next download, but not for at least a week. If you have any feedback on any "overseas" route (I am in US and WLOS is my first "offshore" route) - Let me know. I do not like Electric trains, and TRY to avoid those with a combined throttle. I look forward to your feedback.

Before you spend on settle to carlisle, there is a reworked S-C on the Workshop for free.Try that one before making your mind up.They are pretty close to each other visually, but the one in the Workshop is a WIP so will be having more added to it.Its a challenging route for some steam locos.I have BOTH the freeware and the payware routes. Each has its attractions, but to get a flavout as i say there is a free one on the Workshop. As for other routes i love the Somerset & Dorset route, great looking route with plenty of scanarios. One thing,BOTH S-C and S&D have some great assets if youre into route building.

P.S. i forgot, you need the S-C DLC for the free one as it uses the payware assets. My bad.But still the S-C is a great line.

The direct links to the file at Trainsim.com don't seem to work.

The route was done by John Griffiths who did the Birmingham V6 and the South Devon Banks Routes - both of these are available on Trainsim.com.
It only uses Freeware items to create the line and does come with some scenarios.

Like UKTS you have to be registered at Trainsim.com to download the route.

John's S&Cv7 is one of my favourite routes. It holds up against many newer routes, despite its lack of bells and whistles. It has a lot of atmosphere and is set at a time when most stations were open, the quarries were working and the Colne Valley line was running so the potential for traffic is very high.
