Can anyone point me to the \HST\RW_EastCoast 125 set required for the LaFarge scenario?

I've looked on the Railworkers site - and couldn't find there or elsewhere. Am I having yet another senior moment?

There are of course plenty of substitutes available - but I'm always intrigued by the ones I can't find...

Kind regards,

John M

Hi John,

Do you mean the "6A65 LaFarge" scenario?

I ran my version through RW_Tools and it does not list the HST set you mentioned at all??

The only East Coast stock listed as required by RW_Tools for my version of that scenario are:

Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\CR_East_Coast\Class43\class43_fgw.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TFO\mk3tfo_ec_G.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TRFB\mk3trfb_ec_F.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TSO\mk3tgs_ec_A.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TSO\mk3tso_ec_B.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TSO\mk3tso_ec_C.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TSO\mk3tso_ec_D.bin
Thomson\EandG\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\EastCoast\Mk3TSO\mk3tso_ec_E.bin

Where did you find the "RW-EastCoast 125" reference?

Cheers,
Trevor

Almost Correct. :)
The HST Power Cars are Class 43 but a HST set was either a Class 253 or 254.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Ra ... 54_and_255
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Ra ... s_43_(HST)
The 253 or 254 number used to be displayed on the end - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:254012_,_York.jpg
but these days it just shows the power car number, EC & XC - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:43251_Eaton_Lane.jpg
or nothing, EMT, FGW & GC - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:EMT_H ... er_AB1.JPG

And there was the other one - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XPT_(Train)

hope this helps

Correct :)
Erm... Not correct!

To be pedantic, an HST, aka an Intercity 125, is a DMU which consists of a number of Mk.3 coaches sandwiched between two single-ended Bo-Bo diesel locomotives. It is the locomotives that are designated Class 43.

There! Aren't you glad that we got that sorted?

Kind regards,

Thanks for the suggestion, Trevor, but no, I should have been more specific. I meant the "1A65 Lafarge Oxwellmains to Aberdeen" scenario by John Walsh for the Angus route, available from http://caledonianrailworks.blogspot.co. ... osgar.html.

My copy is dated 07/05/2014, and the accompanying text file refers explicitly to the Railworkers branding file. Maybe it's been changed - I'll download again and check...

Perhaps John Walsh can enlighten us?

Kind regards,

That's what comes from living upside down on the bottom of the planet. My knowledge of UK rolling stock is somewhat 'limited' :D

Hope you find the errant HST set.
