Re: BR Class 14
Quite right.
Now if anybody actually has bought the Class 14 and is in a position to post screenshots or videos that would be welcome.
Any off topic speculation about future releases / the origins of the model / the business practices of companies will be consigned to the bin as soon as I get to them. If you want to comment on the steam forum thread then do so there not here.

Re: BR Class 14
The definitive answer surely is held by the Class 14 itself.
Someone who has it, what is the wording of the copyright notices attached to it? There is the answer to "who" made it in this instance.

If only all problems on the big railway could simply be TAB'd past...

Might take a punt on this, quite liked the look of them ever since I started pottering about the 14 at the Ribble Railway.
I've seen some comments about seating position though, something about not being able to see through the 'cleaned' glass when wipers are in use?

The definitive answer surely lies in the EULA, which makes no separate requirement or conditions for any specific item, nor for any specific developer's products, available through Railsimulator.com.Dave4468 wrote:The definitive answer surely is held by the Class 14 itself.

That's enough about the comments on the other forum!
Any more comments and the pruning tool comes out again.

Re: BR Class 14
Thank you for that Chris, that was just the sort of input required.
I have had little contact with 'Teddybears' so cannot comment with any real knowledge on the sounds, but in-cab doesn't sound too bad - I spend 95% on my sim time in the cab.
Model looks OK, bit too shiny but that is a personal preference and easily sorted. A big selling point for me would have been the wagons, but there is nothing included that I do not already have.
At the end of the day though, 8 quid for a loco, wagons and scenarios is very keenly priced. As such I will end up getting this one at some point in the future.
Thanks again,

Re: BR Class 14
Thanks daemonmp3. Now that I've seen a video, I'm quite pleasantly surprised by the BR Class 14 as an overall package. Shunting isn't really my thing - but it would be a welcome addition to have this little guy as AI traffic in a scenario I was driving. Not a priority purchase for me - but one I wouldn't overlook in the sales.
ASUS Z97-A, i7 4790K @4.00GHz, 16GB RAM @1600MHz, GPU GTX 1080 8GB, Win10 x64 Home Premium.

What makes you think there is a blue one? Looking at the description on steam it says it comes in Green, doesn't mention blueAlicatt wrote:Anyone found the BR Blue version of the Class14? I cannot find one even in the editor.
Dave
Edit, Chris (daemonmp3) has just pointed out the facebook post mentioning the blue, Odd.

That is what is said on the announcement if you have 'liked' or in the group for Rail simulator. So can see why people are getting confused. The locomotive is available in BR Blue and BR Green liveries, and includes 5 Plank wagons, 7 Plank wagons and BR Brake Vans.
Chris
Rising Storm -Name is in the credits
- To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.
