I must clarify this..... my involvement has only been a pm saying "the London Midland logo decal from the class 350 pack should work ok on the 319, just needs a little editing" so please don't think I've done any real work on this.

They do look rather nice Xavier, well done!

As much as that was true, I would have had no idea if you hadn't messaged me. :D

Looking absolutely fantastic there, xguerra. :D

Thank you for the gen leesussex, it'll be pretty useful for the next scenario I'll make, methinks.

I just managed to get a little project of mine the past few days working... ;)

Just need to learn how to move the FCC logo child object!

You need to make the logo a blank texture, either by finding one you already have and copying/pasting into your resins folder and renaming; or blank out the alpha channel of the existing logo completely.
I'll post something of more use when I get home, unless someone else chips in with the answer of course.

Well, I was thinking of just moving the child object down to centre it in the white space, then replace it with a Southern logo as needed. After all, some wayward units still have that mixed Southern/FCC branding :P

I'm not so sure you can move it, as I believe the location of the default logo is set by the model itself rather than by values in a child objects matrix section in the .bin file.

Right. The location of the textures - including logos - is defined in the .GeoPcDx file.

I had to make the FCC logo blank and invisible.

The general concensus of opinion then is that the FCC logo can't be moved and has to be blanked out Storm, so your only option is to do that and add child objects for any logos you use.
Are you OK with how to do either of those?---pointless teaching you to suck eggs if they're something you already know about

I'm guessing that I would be able to blank out the FCC logo child object then somehow create a new one for the Southern logo, though I'm not sure how I'd go about doing the latter.

If the southern logo is in roughly the same place as the FCC logo then just delete the FCC logo instead of blanking it and put in a southern logo and you'll have your southern logos on the train.

It's a wee bit too high Steve, thats why the whole conversation started around being able to move it.

Have a look at how Xavier has done his Connex logo, it's basically a reskin of the logo from the London Midland 350 with the positioning tweaked a bit---you probably haven't enough posts made to receive PM's so send me one with your e-mail address and I'll forward the mail I sent Xavier about the positioning values.

Can't send PMs yet, so I might as well try and bump up my post count with a small update. Started work on the front of the DTSO, might try and get to work on the other carriages soon.
