Bar the door sounds, yes.

I'm excited to see what reskinners will potentially do this model, given the variety they've had over the years. I
For the days of Connex SouthCentral, they operated a "
Connex Express" from London to Brighton via East Croydon using 319s, as well as
Rugby - Gatwick Airport services via Kensington (Olympia). Thus potentially utilising the whole of L2B for the Connex Expresses, and parts of WCML Midlands for the Rugwick services.

Hopefully AP will get a soundpack (325 with door sounds from the 319) out soon after release, and update their scenario packs to include it (particularly the older ones where the 455 stands in currently). Either that or someone on here will be quick with NSE, Connex and Thameslink reskins, then it won't take too long to swap the 455s for 319s with RWTools.

London to Brighton is not that old compared with some routes.
And when the 319's move to pastures new in a few years new liveries could be made.

who said they will be moving to new pastures there will more likely be retired as they are almost 30 years old now, I remember them when they were brand new in NSE

A number (26 sets IIRC) will be moving to Northern this year to operate services on newly electrified lines in the North-West.
The remainder it is suggested will be employed on GWML services out of Paddington, once that electrification scheme progresses.

Richard

3 have been selected to go to Porterbrook and from there they will, presumably, head to Northern once the first section of wires is made live...

I'm half expecting them to turn up on the electrified East-West scheme between Oxford and Bedford via Bletchley as well.

They are going to Liverpool to cover the Diesel lines for Northern when the electrification is completed which is getting worked on as we speak. This comes from a friend who is a northern driver based at Lime Street

...and from Modern Railways and the rest of the rail press. Some are definitely going to Northern for the North West triangle electrification. In fact strictly speaking they were due to have gone already, as the wires in the North West have already begun to be energised, but they can't go until they can be cascaded once new stock for Thameslink appears.

Looks good. I love the second generation DMU's and EMU's and this will be right at home on London to Brighton route. I have a lot of scenarios that can be updated now.

Its already confirmed they are coming to GWML, Reading being their new home when they do. They are being refurbished before they enter service, gradually displacing 165/66s on the Thames Valley services It wont be for a couple of years yet though, 2017 I think was the magic number.......
