Indeed - otherwise the only 3rd rail stuff we'll have to run are the UK units!

Have searched for US EMU units, but none found.

What should they be for this route and why can I not find them?

Even the danish IR4 EMU would be OK, if they fit the OH and I can tfind them somewhere.

BTW. Is the route any good?

For 4 € more we have the possibility to also acquire the HHP-8 locomotive in this Pack:

I have read that this route does not have quick drive mode, is this true?

I'm not a big fan of suburban US routes, I prefer weaving my way through impossible mountain passes, but I like the look of this one. Maybe something to do with northern Manhattan being so iconic, The Bronx, The Yankees, a block or two away from Central Park, or Perk!!!, and Grand Central Station. I may wait until a sale for this but I'll look forward to it whenever I decide to buy.

Just a thought, If I live along the route of proposed DTG route, I'd be getting worried.

After the severe damage to the line and surrounding areas of the Riviera Line and the huge gas explosion which demolishing a building along side the New York - New Haven Line, I would be slightly concerned. :o
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Ha! Probably explains why they didn't go to Plymouth as a lot of people had hoped. Those Nuclear subs in Devonport, heaven forbid!

Initial impressions are favourable - like both locos and built up areas look the part. Was surprised at how low the speed limits are on this part of the line.
