Finish it Rich, finish it!! Pretty please! Ha ha. I was so looking forward to it's release, and then the updates on it's progress seemed to wither away. I beg of you, please continue! :D

Cheers
Terrone.

My comment about the proviso refers to the fact a large amount of DLC and third party assets are required to fully appreciate the route. Now it may be possible to rationalise these somewhat but there would still be around a dozen additional requirements. This causes two problems.

1. Those who wish to run the route will end up acquiring a large amount of additional content. It may be necessary for them to do some of their own troubleshooting and playing hunt-the-asset.

2. Once all the assets have been acquired the game then has to load them all. This causes problems with resources available. Of Particular concern is the fact whole DLC route folders are loaded in addition to the often bloated Kuju folders. Some people would find the performance of the route on their system somewhat flakey.

I am sure there would be willing helpers to aid in the rationalisation of the folders and RW Tools is very useful as well. Please message me if you need help. It is too good a route not to be finished. Regards, Malcolm

I must say Rich, I would love to see the Wherry lines resurface. I spend my whole working life at the moment scuttling along those lines backwards. So if you need someone to confirm passing through Buckenham at speed backwards looks right I'm your man!

Where does the Wherry Lines route run from?

Does it include the Lowestoft to Ipswich and Norwich to Ipswich Lines

I am local to this area so I would love to hear what stations are included.

Regards,

Alex :D

Please please please please do find a way to make wherry lines happen. It's the area of my childhood. And I brought lots of addons just before you saud ages ago it was coming out just to make sure I had all I needed to run it.

I look forward to the Wherry lines! Perfect for a sprinter!

I was wondering if anyone could help me out.. I have used WCML-Shap as a requirement for GEML-Enhanced. At first I wanted it to be useable by anyone who has GEML and didn't want to add any extra requirements as it was meant to be a fix up and improvement of what was already there, however since the neutral sections I have made an exception and used Shap. (I assume most people into electric's would own Shap and the fact its a Keith Ross creation adds to this I'm sure!)

Anyway Shap also uses a lot of other assets that I could use, it seems to use a lot of items that come from other products/providers, such as the foliage pack, Kuju Railsimulator etc. Can I assume that those providers are also shipped with shap even though they are separate folders? I know it seems obvious as DTG would not sell a product that requires other stuff, so I can only assume that if you own Shap you also get the foliage pack and the other items used..

To cut it short, does this mean I can also use these providers as anyone who owns Shap (my only extra requirement for GEML-E) will also have those items?

Cheers
David :)

A shot for you..
I'm sure anyone who knows Colchester will be familiar with the junction to the Clacton/Colchester town branch where the lines split then rejoin. As someone who lives right nearby that junction *looks out window* I was shocked DTG left out the bridges and path which I regularly walk. So after improving my creative skills I thought i'd add them in as well as possible with the provided assets.

And while i'm in the area, I was shocked that the Colchester town junction/wye had industrial units with no way to access them! (In reality a rehearsal studio is down here, which I used to regularly use with my band, so know the spot well and there definately is a bridge present ;)). In the original version the land in the centre of the wye was just about level with the railway, so along with adding the access bridge I also lowered the land as in reality. Gives a much more immersive drive from Col Town towards Colchester North!

Hope this gives an idea of some of the things i'm doing with GEML-E. A lot of it is little touches that add immersion that maybe the average person wouldn't notice were added but would notice if they were then removed (If that makes sense).

Both have been finished since before I did the site but for the 90 I was awaiting the 3d nameplates by Merlin75 and the 57 I sent to someone but apparently it wouldn't show up. I did some changes but haven't had anyone test it since.

If they install correctly for you i'll upload them to UKTS at the weekend. I'll try send you a PM later after work 8)

That's great... Could you maybe email instead as not yet been approved for PM as I do not post that often. Happy to test the 57 as loving the 156 and 153 reskins so far.

Regards
Jason.

You can now receive PMs and post normally - I just quickly reviewed your history and it looks good. I also removed your email from the post since that is a very good way to get spam.
