Slight change of context, I love this route to bits, but would love to remove othe Overhead Electrics, has anyone done this ? does it have any side effects ?
BTW I'm sill on the first version with 3D - no problems. scared to update, and would hate to go 2D
Cheers

Thanks for the tip. The offending buffers are now absent with both track types.

Thanks for letting us know. I just picked up the class 60+wagons for £5.49 while I was downloading the update to N-E. :D

Oddly enough the loops are fine! I am going to see if I can manage to kybosh the route with a swap to the trent valley track? :-?

I ran the Buffer puffer scenario after installing the updated version and had to quit after ten mins because the graphic equaliser effect was just so annoying. I was in 3D mode but have not tried 2D yet.
Let me know how you get on with a track change and I'll try and read up on how to do it myself. Good luck.

I've just run a scenario on this route, from Edinburgh to Newcastle, and noticed that, at
approximately 11 miles from Berwick there is a siding on the up side. The lead in from
the main line to the siding has 2 sets of opposing buffer stops.
I don't know if I'm using 2D or 3D track.

Also, I must say I don't like the 'glare' from signals facing away from me.
Unless there was something, a bridge parapet or a building or whatever, very
close to the signal, there'd be no sideways/backwards reflection.

Another thing that bugs me on this route is when you take certain curves at or below
the speed limit, you get penalised for bad driving technique. A bummer in a
career scenario.
