I cant see a heading for it in the scenario activity section of the file library (but they might be classified somewhere else)

Just finished the Class 91 Early Bird To London (Edinburgh to Newcastle) When you arrive at Newcastle a message comes up saying scenario finished, when you close the window the scenario doesn't end so when you exit you don't get the green tick.

This scenario is only finished when you pull out of the platform (4?) after dropping off and reverse into, I think, Platform 3. I think this is a stupid way of ending the scenario seeing as we are supposed to be driving an Edinburgh to KX service as far as Newcastle.

Thanks for that. No mention in the instructions to do this.

It may have been an initial end of scenario in plat 3 but changed to 4 at the last moment with the author forgetting to change the 'destination' marker? I can't see it being intentional.

JT have already accepted that there is an error wiith the ending to this scenario and have said that it will be fixed. A search of this forum would find that thread....

Re: Just Trains Newcastle to Edinburgh - Now Available
I'm a new TS user, and having purchased this route from JT and ran a service from Waverley, was somewhat flummoxed to see the southbound tunnel entrances blocked up, one with stone the other with trees.... However my train was able to burst through the stone without any damage as far as I could see and continue successfully, and I observed a HST emerge unscathed from the other...
Are these graphic glitches peculiar to me or is there a fix and if so from where, before I contact JT?
Cheers Martin

That's probably because of a missing 'tunnel entrance decal' Martin so it's probably not confined to your system. All the decal does is suppress the display of the ground where the tunnel mouth is so driving through a mound of earth isn't going to damage anything. Your best bet is to document exactly where you see this (these?) anomalies and let JT know.
Re: Just Trains Newcastle to Edinburgh - Now Available
This occasionally crops up with routes, particularly ones that seem to use the Kuju assets. Its even happened on Donner pass and I know all the tunnel decals got put in on that. I was the fellow that did half of them.

The funny thing is I haven't been onto JT, but I had a look just now the first time since I posted about it, and everything's all right now! I didn't dream it honest! How could it correct itself? I tried all four seasons and both the class 166 and class 365, yes someone's dug it all out....One is pleased nontheless, but one is also puzzled.

Sometimes assets just don't load. I have noticed this a couple of times with this and other routes e.g. WCMLN. The last example on Newcastle to Edinburgh for me was when the platforms at Manors station did not show up. Reloading the scenario, I found that the platforms were then displayed correctly. I think this is just a feature of TS that happens sometimes.

I can't see any sign of a patch on the JT website yet, I was waiting for it before I bought the route. Anyone know when it can be expected?ashgray wrote:JT have already accepted that there is an error wiith the ending to this scenario and have said that it will be fixed.....
