Caledonian sleeper Part 1

Post by smarty2 »

Anyone who fancies trying out the first part of a scenario for Shap P.M me and I will give you the link, there is a stock list and a handy timetable to see how late you are that you can print out! (Thanks to Xavier for that)! It is payware heavy but I make no apologies for that, I've got em I'm using em. Besides RWTools is king in that situation. It isn't factual apart from the the service 1S26, your train, Ai is just whimsy. Working on part 2 at the mo for it's continuation to Glasgow.
Tell you what, if the mods have no objection can I put the link in this thread? Save me popping back every half hour!
Best Regards

Please! The sleeper was my favourite mode of transport, and nothing beats having breakfast crossing the Findhorn Viaduct.

Hello Smarty

I also sent you a PM last night (at 9.47 pm) - or at least I thought I had since, although I clicked 'Submit', I note that this morning it appears in my 'Outbox' rather than 'Sent Items' so I am not sure whether I have done anything wrong..............

No probs, just hope it works, as my track record with problem free scenarios is pretty low. Please let me know how you all get on. Ta.

Hope you are feeling better Smarty

Tried the scenario but I have a few missing pieces of rolling stock, inc. the Class 90 so while the scenario will load I cannot drive it just now.
I'll give it another try later when I have replaced the missing bits.
Thanks for your hard work.

Hi, and thanks for the well wishes, much better now thanks. :)
For those struggling to locate the Robel. http://www.amicitreni.org/download/comm ... 81743ef868
And the log wagons if they do not have the DT wagon pack 2. http://www.amicitreni.org/download/comm ... 81743ef868
They will do.
As it is a WIP, it has been mentioned that the instructions are a little vague as to whether you the driver should break the 80mph rule? Yes if you use the the supplied timing sheet and discover you are late, you are then permitted to overspeed by up to 100mph especially between Preston and Oxenholme but beware, that charter can be a devil!! It's a struggle though especially with sixteen coaches and a dead 90 on the rear up Shap!
And just in case anyone thinks a dead 90 on the rear is a dubious decision.
