I'll probably get this route based on the excellent quality of the WCMLN/WLOS routes, however, can anyone answer a few queries regarding the freight potential of this route? It's a game changer for me as I'm not really interested in passenger operations.

Is Kingmoor Yard modelled reasonably correctly? It's done well in WLOS, but the track diagrams are plain wrong/awful in WCMLN which is a shame considering how well Mossend Yard is represented.
Are Currock/London Road included? Yes, I know they're off route, but that was also the case for WLOS.
Do you think Kingmoor/Upperby depots are well done?
Is Hardendale/Shap modelled correctly? I'm specifically referring to siding length here, as Railworks has a habit of getting this wrong meaning that prototypical train lengths often cannot be achieved.
Are the yards at Carnforth included?
What's the freight potential around Preston? Are the docks included?

I know many of these questions are quite expansive, but this sim has a very poor track record when it comes to representation of freight sidings/depots. I don't expect every siding to be the exact correct length etc, however I don't think it's too much to ask that prototypical freights should fit in sidings which they can do in reality (not having a rant, just pre-empting some sarky responses :D) .

You do remember right, they have, as well as their own Class 87 of course don't forget. Can't wait to give this route a try but unfortunately I will have to wait - I want to have words with McCartney, money can't buy you love but it can get a shed load of the very latest DLC!

The actual cab model doesn't appear to have been, apart from now having a cab light. The actual controls have changed though, it now has a notched throttle and the brakes behave much more realistically.

Just completed a clean run over the Route and I must say that this Route is by far an extremely high quality add on. The amount of detail and Route characteristics are very impressive from start to end.
I have been driving over this route for the last 29 years. This has been with Class 81s/Class 85s/ Class 86s /Class 87s/ Class 90s and then onto Diesels. This Route certainly took me back a few years running those Tap Changers up and down :D
As you approach the Neutral at Natland (Approaching Oxenholme from the south), you will see a White House . There used to be a Light which was always switched on. Drivers used this as the Tap Changer run down marker !!!!! It was perfect!
Glad to see that the Neutral sections are well represented.
I would like to recreate some of my trips to/from Carlisle in the period when the Hot Coil Trains to Dee Marsh were in full flow. Class 86/87 double head combinations with BBAs.

The Route has some small cosmetic signalling differences but obviously this is the limitations of the Host sim.

We'll worth the price and we'll done to the creators.

The simple answer is yes with exception of Preston Docks.

FYI to the poster who commented about missing speed warning boards,

If you are saying that they are missing because you have physically been to a part of the line and seen one which is not present in game then fine. However you must also remember that speed warning boards are only used when the speed decreases on the line by 30mph or more. Driver training and route knowledge will keep you right in the future.

+1 to this... I remember from watching the TeleRail cab ride, there aren't much speed restriction warning boards, apart from those huge decreases...

Cheers 37114. I'll await some screenshots but it's probably a buy then.

There should be a toggle in RWTools to change it...

Run "NameMyRoute.exe" from the Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks folder to find the ID number Martin

Yeah, it's ok, I've located it by extracting the scenarios from the route. Just doing clones now.

Already on it! WIP.

Still got to adjust the alignment, find out why despite changing the nameplate it still reads "Sir Francis Drake", and find a way to remove the number without removing the nameplate.
